Two Truths, One Lie.

Nope! The last time I ever wore make-up was Halloween, and I don't remember ever wearing make-up other than that. Some people think I do, though- I have a ..."
That must be nice.

And the answer is number two. I like One Direction, but they're not my favorite band.

2. I’ve spun a car off an Interstate bridge.
3. I’ve had an intimate conversation with a woman who was later murdered.

1. I have gone to Disney World five times and soon this year!
2. My band teacher has said I can hit notes higher possibly than the entire school district!
3. My uncle is related to Davy Crockett.

1) I gave myself purple highlights last night.
2) My great-uncle was the guy who wrote the play Grease.
3) I used to have a giant bald patch on the back of my head.

2. I got thrown out of a legal writing class for making fun of the way the teacher spelled.
3. I’ve watched the news more than half a dozen times since I was in junior high school.

While we were hurriedly launching boats, one of the girls on Baylor’s sailing team had backed my car down the ramp and into Waco Lake, but that hadn’t finished it off. She had driven it right out. Not long afterward, the locking cylinder in the ignition had stripped out. You could start it without key. It had been a nice car. Aunt Jean and Uncle Robert had a lot of money. It wasn’t a car I cared about, though. It was what got me to sailing team practice and, on the weekends, home.
For most of the three years I was at Baylor, I worked for the dean of the graduate school. There wasn’t much need to drive anywhere, other than to sailing practice (the lake was northwest of town) or home (227 miles east). I drove home most weekends. It was a 500-mile round trip, so I learned to study and drive at the same time. It’s a habit I’ve never lost. I still read while I drive.
Anyway (as Alex would say), I had been in a hurry one day to get to the dean’s office, so instead of going on foot I took my car. When I got there, there was no place to park, which wasn’t suprising--there was never a place to park near the library or graduate offices--so I ended up parking at an apartment complex nearby. As usual, after my appointment with the dean, I had gone back go my apartment on foot. I forgot about it until days later, when someone on the sailing team told me that a car like mine was parked at his apartment complex. I think I shook my head and shrugged, but not long afterward, when I went out to get in my car, it wasn’t there. It took me a few minutes to put two and two together and figure out where it was.

2. I enjoy the Sound of Music every time.
3. Next week I shall see the Avengers.
This one should be easy.

For Alex. Number 2 as well.

I thoroughly enjoy the Sound of Music. I did not play D&D last week; I ran the game. It doesn't really qualify as playing as it mostly involves people yelling at you and frantically trying to things moving without slamming through continuity and pacing. It also doesn't help when one of the players is a brat about one enemy (out of the dozens they've fought) that happens to be perfectly geared towards destroying him. It's ... a lot like work. Fun work (sometimes), but it isn't playing unless you play a character.

I own:
1) a cell phone.
2) the latest version of Apple laptop.
3) one of those cheap plastic necklaces from Great America.

This is gonna be easy, Kyra. You know me too well.
1) I have over 30 yellow rubber ducks.
2) I love watching flames.
3) I own flannel sheets.
Nope! The last time I ever wore make-up was Halloween, and I don't remember ever wearing make-up other than that. Some people think I do, though- I have a natural blush that some people confuse for make-up.
