Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10110 comments Sorry, number two wasn't the lie. It was number three. Yes, I have blown my nose like an elephant in public before. I've done it in a frozen yogurt place, Fred Meyer, and even a public library. I just didn't happen to do it in Canada.

yup

Nicky (soundgirl) | 1388 comments Hi, how about this one....

I have never learned to ....

1)Play a musical instrument
2)Drive
3)Swim

message 904: by M (new)

M | 11617 comments It seems unlikely that you’d have gotten by without driving, and for some reason it’s hard for me to imagine that you can’t swim, so I’m going to guess that--though you’ve obviously had involvement with performers and musicians--you can’t play an instrument.

message 905: by [deleted user] (new)

Drive, there's a bus.

message 906: by Ryan (new)

Ryan | 5334 comments Swim?

message 907: by [deleted user] (new)

1? because I've never learn to play any :D

message 908: by M (new)

M | 11617 comments We should start a band--a band with no instruments. The audience would have to imagine the music.

message 909: by [deleted user] (new)

yes, I can imagine what the audience looks like while watching us.

message 910: by Ryan (new)

Ryan | 5334 comments I'll play air guitar.

message 911: by Nicky (new)

Nicky (soundgirl) | 1388 comments The answer is

I have managed so far without learning to drive (although it's increasingly an issue and although I love music and have worked in the industry I can't play an instrument so the lie is that (3)I can swim, I love to swim when I get the chance.

right whose go is it?

message 912: by M (new)

M | 11617 comments I guessed right but I still missed it. (Sigh.)

message 913: by Ryan (new)

Ryan | 5334 comments While driving each of these, I have crashed:

1. A fire engine responding to a fire

2. A tank during a live fire exercise

3. A race car during qualifying

message 914: by [deleted user] (new)

3

message 915: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10110 comments Number two?

message 916: by Ryan (new)

Ryan | 5334 comments Technically speaking, the fire truck wasn't my fault. But when you're driving a big red truck with flashing lights and a siren, there isn't any way to escape the embarrassment of crashing it, at fault or not.

The tank was 100% my fault. Thankfully, when you're driving a 44 tonne armour plated beast, fences and trees always come off second best.

While I've been a passenger in a race car, I've never driven one. Number 3 is the lie. Got me again, Leslie :)

message 917: by M (new)

M | 11617 comments You’ve driven a tank. That’s impressive!

message 918: by Ryan (new)

Ryan | 5334 comments 3 years in the Army after secondary school.

message 919: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10110 comments Hoo-rah!

message 920: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10110 comments My turn!

When I write fiction, my most commonly used male given name is…

1. Marcus
2. Mitch
3. Max

message 921: by Nicky (new)

Nicky (soundgirl) | 1388 comments Max?

message 922: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10110 comments Yep! You got it, Nicky! I've got millions of characters named Marcus and Mitch, but hardly any named Max. Maybe I should start using it to create a little diversity among my characters.

message 923: by Nicky (new)

Nicky (soundgirl) | 1388 comments Someone reminded me of this the other day and I thought - I must put that on 2 truths one lie - so I hope this one makes you smile!

1) I've been flashed at by a guy with orange spray tan who was dressed as a cowboy.
2) I've been flashed at by a guy in a dirty trench coat who said "Have you got the time?"
3) I've been flashed at by a guy with a handle bar moustache who was dressed in a captains hat and a yellow sowester.

message 924: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10110 comments You outdid yourself this time, Nicky! I'm going to guess number one.

message 925: by Nicky (new)

Nicky (soundgirl) | 1388 comments Ah, good guess!
Yes, that was the lie the other 2 weirdly are true!
The cowboy was a male stripper at a girlfriends hen do(possibly one of the most painfully awful experiences of my life) Aside from the overall cheesiness of the entire night he went on to do something unspeakable with a pot of yoghurt!

message 926: by Ryan (new)

Ryan | 5334 comments What a horrible visual to start my day with!

Very funny, Nicky :)

message 927: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10110 comments You've led quite the interesting life, Nicky! Hehe! :)

P.S. I never knew what those hats were called. :)

When I was young I divulged in many club adventures with my friends.

1. In 5th grade I would sneak out of my apartments with friends, and break into empty apartments that had not been rented yet. We would sit indian style on the floor, talking about ghost & goblins for about 5 minutes before getting scared and running home.

2. I once was in a club in junior high called the wig bandits. We would go to the mall and act inconspicuous before turning the wigs around on tall mannequins in stores like Dillards and J.C. Penny. Then we would run off to Orange Julius, and decide on whether or not to steal a wig for ourselves.

3. I was once in a club called "The frog expelers." Every Friday we would snatch frogs from the track at a local college (this was actually post graduation) and take the frogs down to a river to perform anatomy inspections. We would dissect the frogs like we did in Junior High. And then go to coffee & breakfast before out Saturday morning art class.

:) ~~~

message 931: by Ryan (new)

Ryan | 5334 comments Wow, Cat! Each of those reads like a synopsis for a story I'm dying to hear in full.

I'm going to guess that number 1 is the lie.

message 932: by [deleted user] (new)

Haha. Thanks. No, actually, 3 is the lie! ~ I once was homeless, and slept in my car. I did find a frog to dissect at that time, but someone took the bag off my hood while I was sleeping and let the frog loose. (I did not pay attention to the project in 7th grade when I was younger, and wanted to find out what I missed.) Good thing for the frog, I guess.

As for one, I did break into an apartment (the window was unlocked) with a friend. I should have been at home studying though.

Haha. ~ :)

message 933: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10110 comments You were quite the wild child, Cat! If your future memoir isn't a New York Times Bestseller, I don't know what is! :)

message 934: by [deleted user] (last edited May 24, 2014 10:34PM) (new)

Thanks, Garrison. You can tell by my scanty entries in 2 T's 1 L - that my Life has not been too exciting. Not as exciting as premed students, and science class takers anyway:)

Broken_Heart (just-smile) Hi!!

message 936: by [deleted user] (new)

Hello~

message 937: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10110 comments I guess I'll go next.

My favorite soft rock song is…

1. “Blue Looks Good On You” by Thierry Condor
2. “When I’m Back On My Feet Again” by Michael Bolton
3. “Soul Cake” by Sting

message 938: by [deleted user] (new)

Soul Cake song? (I used to sing #2 in junior when I was feeling sorry for myself. That was 6th grade.)

message 939: by Ryan (new)

Ryan | 5334 comments Number 2?

message 940: by Broken_Heart (new)

Broken_Heart (just-smile) No. 1 cause no one guess it..so??

message 945: by [deleted user] (new)

This is the second time this week someone told me about 1 direction. So I better listen up~.

Um, 3 is probably true. And who hates yellow, but people who think it is a wasteland color. A person named Skye probably loves the sun color yellow. So, I guess: #2.

:)~

I've got a massive Lana Del Rey crush going on just now ;)

message 948: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10110 comments The lie was "Soul Cake". Ever since Sting started putting out themed albums (medieval, Christmas, symphonic music, Irish folk), I haven't been able to enjoy his music as much. He should stick to what brought him to the dance.
