Yea...

message 852: by M (new)

M | 11617 comments Wow! He’s a Harvard graduate and did grad work at Columbia.

message 853: by [deleted user] (new)

Yea, and my friend and I were the only two out of like 200 or so kids who read it at our school and he was happy and amazed that me and him read it in 4 days...

message 854: by [deleted user] (new)

Let me see..sixteen years ago:

1. I was sent to the principal's office (because I was absent for a day)
2. I was told to step out of the classroom (because I was playing football inside the classroom)
3. I was suspended for three days (because I was caught writing on the wall)

message 855: by Ryan (new)

Ryan | 5334 comments Very exciting, December.

I'd guess they're all lies, Leslie. I can't imagine you ever getting in trouble ;)

But, if I have to choose, I'd say number 1?

message 856: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10110 comments I'm going to take a shot in the dark and say number two is the lie. I can't picture you playing football.

message 857: by [deleted user] (new)

Garrison, it was just an improvised game, sorry, I didn't make that clear.

No. 3 is the lie. I've never been suspended.

Ryan, I've been in trouble many times when I was younger.

message 858: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10110 comments I bet you were cute as a kid, Leslie. :)

message 859: by Ryan (new)

Ryan | 5334 comments 1. I've jumped out of perfectly good aeroplanes more than twenty times.

2. I've surfed waves that are so big I needed a jet ski to tow me into them.

3. I've scuba dived so deep I spent time in a decompression chamber.

message 860: by M (new)

M | 11617 comments It’s difficult to choose! A person likely to have been in one of those situations is just as likely to have been in either of the other two.

message 861: by [deleted user] (new)

No. 3?

message 862: by Ryan (last edited May 02, 2014 03:54AM) (new)

Ryan | 5334 comments Ah, you know me too well Leslie. I like scuba diving but only in the shallows, I'm too claustrophobic to go very deep.

I won't ask what type of person that is, M ;)

message 863: by M (new)

M | 11617 comments An adventurous person!

message 864: by [deleted user] (new)

One of these days, I'm going to try surfing.

message 865: by M (new)

M | 11617 comments The closest I get to it is the World Wide Web. Lots of big waves!

message 866: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10110 comments I've said it before, Ryan: you've led quite the interesting life! :)

Aside from writing, my dream occupation would be a…

1. Standup Comedian
2. Cage Fighter
3. Librarian

message 867: by Ryan (new)

Ryan | 5334 comments I'm a lot more mellow these days, Garrison :)

I'd say number 3 is the lie. I think I know you well enough to be fairly certain. But, maybe not...

message 868: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10110 comments Bzzt! Anybody else?

message 869: by Nicky (new)

Nicky (soundgirl) | 1388 comments Hi Garrison, I imagine the other two are just about as nerve raking for different reasons, I'm going to guess....Comedian?

message 870: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10110 comments The lie was cage fighter. Yes, I'm an MMA nut, but I'm far from an athlete. Cage fighters have to dehydrate themselves to make weight and train for 12 hours a day just for a 15 or 25 minute fight months away. I couldn't handle that kind of schedule.

message 871: by Ryan (new)

Ryan | 5334 comments Haha! I was guessing from the total wrong angle. Nice one, Garrison. I think a Librarian in the right Library would be an incredible job.

message 872: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10110 comments It'd be peaceful, that's for sure. I could use some peace in my life. :)

message 873: by Ryan (new)

Ryan | 5334 comments I read a book by Paulo Coelho called 'The Road To Santiago'. Now that's my idea of peace. One day. Have you read it, Garrison? Well worth it if you haven't.

message 874: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10110 comments What's it about?

message 875: by Ryan (new)

Ryan | 5334 comments My bad, the title is 'The Pilgrimage'. On the surface it is about a trek on a pilgrim trail from France to Santiago. Deeper down it is about soul-searching, rebirth and peace. Lots of people do the trek every year - no phones, no technology, nothing but you and your feet and beautiful surroundings.

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10110 comments If there was ever a way to kick my computer addiction, this would be it.

message 877: by Nicky (new)

Nicky (soundgirl) | 1388 comments I've been waiting ages and no-ones taken a turn, so....try this one.... I have been:

1) hit by the drum sticks of well known drummer.
2) frisked by the secret service.
3) bitten on the bum by a roadie.

message 878: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10110 comments Number two is the lie. Right?

message 879: by M (new)

M | 11617 comments What’s a roadie?

message 880: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10110 comments A roadie is someone who sets up a band's equipment just before they put on a concert.

message 881: by M (new)

M | 11617 comments Ah. Thank you, Garrison!

Hmm. One and three both involve bands. I’ll go with the second one.

message 882: by [deleted user] (new)

3?

message 883: by Ryan (new)

Ryan | 5334 comments 2?

message 884: by Nicky (new)

Nicky (soundgirl) | 1388 comments No, sorry 2 and 3 are true - one is the lie - he threw them but missed so I threw them back!!

message 885: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10110 comments Flying Drumsticks: sounds like a martial arts movie of some kind. Hehe! My turn!

On my dating site profile, I openly admit to being…

1. Curvy
2. Mentally Disabled
3. Unemployed

message 886: by Nicky (new)

Nicky (soundgirl) | 1388 comments Hmmm, I think.... 1?

message 887: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10110 comments Bzzt!

message 888: by Nicky (new)

Nicky (soundgirl) | 1388 comments hmmm, ok a 50/50 chance, 2 then!

message 889: by Garrison (last edited May 07, 2014 02:57PM) (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10110 comments The lie was number three. I never admit that I'm unemployed, because I want to be loved for who I am, not how much money I make.

message 890: by [deleted user] (new)

ok so umm.....
1. I can't find anything to read
2. I'm going to a concert this summer
3. I know more old songs then new

message 891: by [deleted user] (new)

3?

message 892: by [deleted user] (new)

nope.

message 893: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10110 comments 1?

message 894: by Jack (new)

Jack Daniels | 32 comments i guess ill go with two. well see who got it right. lol.
okay then um...
1.) i love swimming in barely thawed lakes in febuary (well more like jumping in, screaming, and jumping back out).
2.) when it comes to food- the spicier the better.
3.)i used to seriously think i could fly when i was a kid so id practice in the backyard. "anyday now ill lift off the ground!"

message 895: by Nicky (new)

Nicky (soundgirl) | 1388 comments Well, they're all very different, but what about 2?

message 896: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10110 comments I'm guessing 1 for Jack.

message 897: by Nicky (new)

Nicky (soundgirl) | 1388 comments Well based on nothing more than I like the word....
number 1 ??

message 898: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10110 comments When I vacationed in Canada in 2013 with my family, my most socially awkward moment was…

1. Refusing to talk to four southern girls who were sharing an elevator with me.
2. Cracking my knuckles and causing a girl to curl up in a ball.
3. Blowing my nose like an elephant in the middle of a bookstore.

message 899: by Jack (new)

Jack Daniels | 32 comments Garrison wrote: "I'm guessing 1 for Jack."
yep. but id definetely leap in screaming in early march. usually not febuary. lol. once i did it in late january to scare these visitors who were watching the lake.
me: CANNONBALL!!! needless to say- i think i almost died, plus my clothes were wet and freezing the rest of the walk home. lol.

message 900: by Jack (new)

Jack Daniels | 32 comments hmmmmm i think its number 2? though number three would be pretty funny too- not to laugh at your most awkward moment but it looks pretty funny in my head. lol.
