I once sang Janus Joplin's Take another little piece of my heart at a wedding.

I once caught a flower bouquet at a wedding.

I got married.

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10110 comments The first one is a lie, Cat.

As far as this Bregus person goes...I honestly have no idea where that came from.

Ryan | 5334 comments I guess 3 is the lie, Cat.

message 754: by [deleted user] (new)

You are right! :)~

Number 3 is the lie."

Haha! Correct - I was banned from the brownies on my first day for being a disruptive influence!!

Dolly - wise - She was a lovely lady, she'd lost her microphone down the front of a very tight corset with not enough time to go back to the wardrobe department so it was my job to retrieve it. She didn't seem to mind, I wasn't particularly keen - much to the amusement of all the guys I was working with, I don't think I can post the comments they were making over my headset at the time!

message 756: by Ryan (new)

Ryan | 5334 comments Wow, that's a cool story! I guess it's my turn.

1. I've been shot at in anger.
2. I once dated a world-famous singer.
3. My current band has signed a record contract.

message 757: by [deleted user] (new)

One? :D

message 758: by Ryan (new)

Ryan | 5334 comments Haha, both wrong. 3 is the lie!

message 759: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10110 comments What kind of maniac would want to fire a gun at you, Ryan?! That's messed up!

message 760: by [deleted user] (new)

Psssh, I almost chose 3, you wouldn't be here if your band has signed a contract.

message 761: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10110 comments My turn!

I have autographed memorabilia from…

1. Buckcherry
2. Eric Christian Olsen
3. Thom Hartmann

message 762: by Ryan (new)

Ryan | 5334 comments Haha, it's a messed up world, Garrison.

I'd miss you all too much if I left, Leslie.

Number 1?

message 763: by M (new)

M | 11617 comments Nicky, I’m shocked, simply shocked! Please supply more details.

message 764: by M (new)

M | 11617 comments I want to know who the famous singer is that Ryan dated.

message 765: by [deleted user] (new)

Garrison, No. 2?

Me too, I want to know who the singer is.

message 766: by M (new)

M | 11617 comments I’m not familiar with any of the people Garrison named. They must have achieved celebrity status after the 1980’s.

message 767: by [deleted user] (new)

M, how come you know Emily?

message 768: by [deleted user] (new)

Who'd you date?

message 769: by Ryan (new)

Ryan | 5334 comments A gentleman never kisses and tells. Sorry, that kills the whole story I guess ;)

message 770: by Garrison (last edited Apr 21, 2014 07:54PM) (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10110 comments Leslie's right: the lie was number two. I have a Buckcherry poster with autographs from the members and a Thom Hartmann book called "Walking Your Blues Away" where he personally signed the inside cover for me. Following Eric Christian Olsen on Twitter didn't bear any fruit, because I couldn't get him to reply to any of my Tweets. So no autographs there.

Hi M,
It's not as interesting as it sounds compressed into one sentence actually it's a little sad!

My friends were in the brownies so I persuaded my mum to take me. It was held early evening after school when we would have usually been out playing. It was a beautiful sunny, summers evening and the old fossil that ran it suggested we stay inside and do flower arranging. I was usually quite a polite child so although I can't remember the exact wording of the exchange I imagine I put my hand up and asked something along the lines of 'couldn't we play outside instead?' where upon my mother was called to come and collect me and told I wasn't the sort of girl they would except in the brownies as I was a disruptive influence!!
As I was only seven I couldn't really explain to my Mum what had happened and so I never went again. Looking back now I wonder why my Mum didn't make more of a fuss about it - I don't know if she was embarrassed or just thought maybe if it was run like that we'd be better off not going. Now as an adult myself I wonder if something else was going on that as a child I wouldn't have picked up on - like my be the other adults there had also suggested that flower arranging might not be the best activity that evening and I was just the unfortunate scape goat!!
So anyway, no badges for me!

message 774: by Nicky (new)

Nicky (soundgirl) | 1388 comments Right we need a new set of clues!

How about...

1) I once spent the morning surrounded by half naked firemen.
2) I was once made to spend the week with a knotted rope around my wrist.
3) I once spent a month with a group of naked gardeners.

Nicky (soundgirl) | 1388 comments Garrison wrote: "Leslie already got it, Nicky. It's two."

Hi Yeah, sorry I deleted it - my computer sometimes seems to take a few minutes to catch up for some reason and I start replying and then the new post appears - it keeps catching me out!

Indeed! Can't wait 'til the next episode. I NEED MORE DENSI. Haha.

message 777: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10110 comments Nicky, I'm going to take a shot in the dark and say that the first one is a lie.

Kit-Kat, I also need more Densi. They're my favorite couple on TV! ^_^

message 778: by Ryan (new)

Ryan | 5334 comments Number 3? (As interesting as it sounds...)

message 779: by [deleted user] (new)

Lol, okay, I'll go for No. 3 :)

message 780: by Caitlan (new)

Caitlan (lionesserampant) | 2869 comments I'll bite; I think number 3 is the lie.

Garrison; they're one of my favorites too. So much chemistry. I hope it really happens, though it'll be interesting to see how their working relationship will be affected by it.

message 781: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10110 comments OWEN GRANGER: The beginning of the end?
HENRIETTA LANGE: The end of the beginning.

What do you think they mean by that, Kat?

message 782: by Caitlan (last edited Apr 22, 2014 12:59AM) (new)

Caitlan (lionesserampant) | 2869 comments I've no idea, and it's killing me! I think Granger thinks that this is going to end in disaster, but Hetty seems to think that it might blossom. What do you think they meant?

message 783: by M (new)

M | 11617 comments For Nicky’s, I’m guessing #3 is the lie.

message 784: by Nicky (new)

Nicky (soundgirl) | 1388 comments Hi, yep you're all correct - number 3 is the lie. I met the 'naked gardeners' a few times but only for a few minutes! The were very nice folks, very knowledgeable about gardening if you manage not to get distracted!

message 785: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10110 comments I was thinking the same thing, Kat. I just wasn't sure at first because it was an ambiguous way to end that episode. Then again, ambiguity is an artist's best friend.

message 786: by Caitlan (new)

Caitlan (lionesserampant) | 2869 comments I'm just glad today's finally Tuesday! Haha.

message 787: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10110 comments I think NCIS is taking the week off this time. When I watched the episodes last week, they didn't say "Stay tuned for scenes from our next episode." like they normally do. You know what that means. :(

message 788: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10110 comments Now it’s time to get a little dark here.

1. I’ve been suspended from middle school for fighting other students.
2. I’ve been in high school detention for being frequently late to class.
3. I’ve been suspended from college for threatening my geology teacher.

C. J. Scurria (goodreadscomcj_scurria) | 4470 comments Hmm... I'd say Number 3 is the lie.

message 790: by Nicky (new)

Nicky (soundgirl) | 1388 comments hmmm, I'll say 2 is the lie!

message 791: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10110 comments Ding, ding, ding! Nicky got it! The second one was the lie!

message 792: by Kimberly (new)

Kimberly I knew number 3 couldn't be a lie, I had a geology teacher once. It was a summer class, and she was so demanding I lasted just until the break then walked (well ran like my pants were on fire really)to the register's office to withdraw from the class. Had I stayed any longer I would've done more than threaten though.

message 793: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10110 comments That's partly why I call it "Ge-y'all-ogy" instead of geology. It's not much of a parody, but it works for me.

message 794: by Nicky (new)

Nicky (soundgirl) | 1388 comments Hi Garrison,

I don't know why but you didn't strike me as a late for class kind of guy!

I like this thread too and I was waiting for a new set of cues but none have appeared so...how about these

1) I have a jar of Consecrated Marmalade in my cupboard.
2) I have shared a bed with a Nun.
3) I met Jesus for a coffee and he arrived on a bike.

message 795: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10110 comments Is it the first one?

message 796: by M (new)

M | 11617 comments I’m guessing the second one is the lie. Priests will consecrate just about anything, and there are a lot of people named Jesus.

message 797: by [deleted user] (new)

Okay, if number two is true, will you tell us the story? :)~ Tell us all the stories, Nicky~ :)

message 798: by Nicky (last edited Apr 29, 2014 12:31PM) (new)

Nicky (soundgirl) | 1388 comments Hi Guys!

M's right really, she wasn't a Nun any more as she'd been excommunicated by the Pope!

I bought the marmalade at a roadside cafe recently and it made us smile that the label said 'Blessed by Father David' - we wondered if it was just that particular jar he'd blessed or whether he had a habit of blessing all preserves.

the other stories were when I was filming in Oberammergau ( they have a Passion Play there)We didn't get back to the Hotel till very late and there was a mix up with the rooms - one of us had to share with the presenter (a lovely lady who had been in a convent for her whole life until being excommunicated at age 57 for publishing an article someone was offended by)anyway as the only girl on the crew again I had to share with her!
We interviewed 'Jesus' in the coffee shop and the weird thing in the village there is that they are all have biblical beards etc so he arrived in costume on his bike!

Right, come on then - whose turn is it now before I run out of anecdotes?!

What a story. You should write short stories. :)~
