I just finished
. I liked this YA book very much. It was a cute love story and I loved that it was based in Paris. I highly recommend it!
Sue Just finished probably the last book I will get to this month.
I really enjoyed this first in the series. I will definitely continue this series.
Brett,I finally got around to one of my picks
I'm only about 100 pages in, but I just adore it so far. I usually read paranormal romance or urban fantasy and I forget how much I used to enjoy historical romance, so thanks for recommending this. Another new author (and series) for the TBR pile!

Christine! Don't tell me you've never read Lisa Kleypas!! You are in for a treat then because she has an amazing backlist. :)

Okay, I won't tell you. : )
I've been meaning to read her books for ages, but just never got around to it. So kudos to Brett for finally giving me the push I needed.
oh Christine...you have some fun ahead of you - this series is complete, as is her Wallflowers on (kinda of prequel to this one, but not really...there are some overlapping characters)
Dee wrote: "oh Christine...you have some fun ahead of you - this series is complete, as is her Wallflowers on (kinda of prequel to this one, but not really...there are some overlapping characters)"I just met the married couple that live next to the Hathaways, and from the way they are portrayed it felt like they might have their own interesting story. I can't wait. So many books, so little time!
Finished
... looks like the only one I'm going to get finished this month life is just too crazy lately (need a vacation so I can read). I found this book only okay, not sure if I'll give the rest of the series a go

I'm so happy you like the book so far! I think you are going to love the series if you read the next books. Lisa Kleypas is one of my favorites :)

I was up until 1:30 finishing the book. Which rarely ever happens to me. I usually pass out well before 11. I loved it. I loved that she mixed things up a bit with him trying to convince her to marry him instead of vice versa. I can't wait to get my hands on the next one! Thank you again for the nudge I needed to finally check out Lisa Kleypas.
I thought I'd posted an update, but I guess not. I finished my pick, Touched by an Alien on the 18th. Really enjoyed it! I'm hoping to pick up the next one in the series to read in June.
Wow, forgot to update as well! LOLFinished Deadly Captive and I liked it. Great twist to the story- was pleasantly surprised! Thanks Amy for the push.
Working on Mouth To Mouth buddy read.
Kami,I finished A Game of Thrones this morning. Thanks for giving me the push I needed to start this series. I really enjoyed the read and gave it 4 stars.

Hey NayNay, I have been on my honeymoon so only just been able to write on here. I read My Sister's Keeper and gave it 4 stars, it was a great read and really thought provoking, I felt sorry for all sides in this story. Will definitely have to read more Picoult now. Thankyou for recommending it.

Lekshmy,
I'm so glad you enjoyed them! You read so many! I totally agree on the 5 stars for Book Thief- one of my favorites ever :)
I finished my last book for May today. Made it in time. I just finished Blood Red by Heather Graham.
I only was able to finish one book this month but it was really good. I read Kitty and the Midnight Hour I loved it considering I don't usually go for werewolves but this story really grabbed me and I'm looking forward to reading the rest of the series

Looking forward to them!!
I didn't quite finish my 8th book for this challenge - I only got about 85% through Fifty Shades of Grey. I'm not quite done yet, but I think I am going to fall into the odd middle area with it. It seems you either love it or hate it and for me it is just "meh", not bad, but not exceptional. I am getting the feeling that you really need to read all three of them to get the whole story. I'm glad that it was finally picked for me so I could find out for myself what all the fuss is about.
Rena - I couldn't read any of the picks this month (too busy with other stuff.) But I'm planning to read some of them soon!
Here's our final stats:62 people participated this month
52 completed the challenge and of those, 19 peeople read more than one of their recs!
Would it surprise you to know that Lisa Kleypas was the most read author this month? LOL Probably not since she was the most rec'd. We read her 4 times this month :)
Thank you so much for letting me host this! I enjoyed it :D
