Where is your ideal setting? Era? I know the Cornwall coast has been done to death's gills, but seemingly not one novel sets out as the epic piece, that would quieten my thrill seeking when Cornwall comes to mind!

Gilded Age New York, specifically 1880s. I dunno why, but I love that period and the theater of the time. Which is why I'm obsessive about grabbing anything that has to do with actors and actresses in the Victorian era.

I love that architecture. I used to periodically stop by this ladies house in the town next door, and instead of the antiques she had for sale, I was frittering off through her old colonial mansion, captivated. ;O
