Will Vs Jace- This is a tricky one but I love Jace and his witty humour. So i may have to say Jace.Jem Vs Simon- Would probably have to say Jem, because he is a true gentlemen.
Clary Vs Tessa- Tessa, because she is really sweet and caring.
But i don't know about you guys but if I had a choose to pick Gideon, i would he is one of my fav characters from TID, because he is brave and caring.
Will vs Jace- Jace Such a tough choice, but Jace just ends up being funnier than WillJem vs Simon- SImon all the way!I mean, come on, he's hilarious! (:
Clary vs Tess- Clary. I love getting to see how Clary learns to defend herself and how she risks everything for her mom.
Will vs Jace I think Jace wins by a mile I love him so much and he is funny and sarcasticJem vs Simon I think Jem because Simon irks me an Jem is super sweet and caring even in the worst of times where Simon can be annoying
CLary vs Tessa Clary duhh she is awsome and has attitude and spunk
Will vs Jace: definitely Will! He's funnier, and I like him more than Jace who overdoes it. Jem vs Simon: tough one. I'm going to have to go with Simon though because Jem wasnt really a developed character and I don't know that much about him.
Clary vs Tessa: definitely Tessa, clary's very annoying and reckless, while Tessa is more intelligent and I don't know I just like Tess better.
Will vs. Jace- Jace because Will was too, too stupid at some points. Calling Tessa a prostitute, then telling her he loves her? Seriously?Jem vs. Simon- I really, really, REALLY cannot choose.
Tessa vs. Clary- Tessa because Clary is just sometimes just no and needs to walk away and stop being so lovesick and her backbone needs to not be Jace and needs to be her and I still love her but sometimes just no.

True. I kind of like Will's character better, but he just upsets me and puts me in to much emotional distress regarding the whole Wessa vs. Jessa shenanigans (yeah...Idek) but Will just makes me want to slap him and then get him an icepack and Jace makes me want to hug him and kill someone. I don't hate Clary but she needs to grow a spine and stop waiting for Jace to save her (Although, on multiple occasions, she has saved Jace).

I've commented before but I have changed my mind. All of these are a tie. I have things a like and dislike about them all. However they are all very dynamic characters and I could not possibly choose
Will vs. JaceIt is a tough one, but I somewhat prefer Will, because I think that he is funny, nice, cocky and sarcastic. I just wish he were real :(
Jem vs. Simon
I think I'm going to go with Simon since I personally like kind but funny and outgoing people.
Clary vs. Tessa
Clary is always going to be my homegirl, though she can sometimes be risky and annoying, I freaking love her attitude!
Jem just beats everyone. He is the most amazing character EVER. I don't even know how you can compare him to Simon. I love Simon, but Jem and he aren't even remotely the same.
will v.s. jace= will because his undeniable words and love for tessa is just amazingjem v.s. simon= i can't decide they're bother amazing characters!
clary v.s. tessa= tessa obviously because first of all she's an actual heroine (clary just seems whiny and doesn't really do to much). tessa proves to be a hero by changing into an angel to save her friends and the angel that was held captive. and the ending of the book was just more satisfying, knowing that her and will got together and later on so did her and jem.
Clary just seems so whiny, and i don't know un heroic (even though she did some good things) idk, i could argue for hours
will vs. jace= will. jace got kind of annoying after a while.jem vs. simon= JEM HANDS DOWN. jem is my favorite character in the whole thing. he's so sweet and adorable and gahh i just can't
clary vs. tessa= tessa. clary doesn't even do anything, and her whole creating new ruins thing isn't nearly as interesting as tessa's warlock/shape shifting abilities

Tessa vs Clary = Tessa for sure, Clary isn't even that badass. Plus Tessa's just all around amazing, and SHE LOVES BOOKS!

Will vs. Jace: I definitely agree on will, I love how funny he can be, and how I can relate to that sudden spurt of hubris, especially when we know we are right. Tessa vs. Clary: Both are my favorites but I will have to say Clary, she's in a way comes off stronger than Tessa but seeing that both have faced some though challenges it's hard to choose.
Jem vs. Simon: Jem, I feel like I can relate to him more in a sense that I worry so much for my friends and are willing to help them anytime needed.

Will vs jace- I love both of them but I think I prefer will to jace because he's just so funny and much more likable than jace.Tessa vs Clary- Tessa and Clary both have awesome, unique powers but I prefer Tessa, I mean how can you not prefer her she can change into ANYTHING-even dead people, and Tessa is way stronger too, but I love Clary's attitude!
Jem vs will- definitely Jem, how can you not love him, he is just so sweet and his friendship with will is relatable and just shows how much he will sacrifice for his best friend!
But I love all these characters anyway!
Will vs. Jace: Definitely Jace! Though both were a$$holes at the beginning of the books, Will left a horrible first-impression on me, despite the fact that once I continued reading, I found out it was just because of his curse. Jace, however, let his guards down for the first time and fell in love with Clary and I just thought that was the most wonderful thing ever. (And I have a thing for blondes).Jem vs. Simon: Of course I pick Jem! He is a total sweetheart! I die every time he and Tessa have a "moment." Plus, I just don't like Simon. I find him clingy and annoying (though he is a very good friend to Clary).
Clary vs. Tessa: Clary all the way! I really just don't like Tessa very much, though I can't say I know why. There's just something about her... Anyway, I do know why I like Clary: she reminds me of me!
not to be mean but i didnt like jamie as jace so he basically ruined jace for me. soo will. also i really like clary and tessa. cant decide. Again jems so adorible and sweet but simons just so funny. i like tessa refuse to choose.

Will, jem and tessaFor one, i consider clary as one of the most annoying main characters ever. I cant understand a lot of her logics
Jace is good but Will is absolutely better. Well because he is Will. And that should be enough reason
And as for Simon and Jem, i love Simon but Jem is the lovely silver-head boy with so much affection for Will and Tessa so...
Tessa,Will and SimonFor me Will is the best male main character of all the world, i just can't... I love him so much, he's the character which who i identify most.
The i think Tessa is more reasonable than Clary, i even remember to hate her, and then of course is Simon, i like the way he is just such a good friend and how he is still a kid and his jokes, i love all the TMI characters too but i think that in this case Will win :)
Will Vs. Jace: Will. I do love Jace though, but William Herondale brought me to tears in the second book.Simon VS Jem: I'd have to say Simon, not that I don't like Jem.
Tessa Vs. Clary: Clary just because she's a fiery, short redhead.
By the end of TMI I feel like each of the characters had grown. So I like TMI, but I LOVE TID. Will, Tessa & Jem are for me. Their friendship and love is.....I cannot even explain how much they moved me as wonderful unselfish characters. I can re-read TID over and over and not get tired of it. The comic @ end of UK/Austr COHF just brought me to tears.

Will VS Jace: I have to choose Will. I love his quotes, he made me sad in the 2nd book too.Simon VS Jem: Simon. He is so cute! In like a non-crush way..you understand right

Will all the way. I love Jace but Will was secretly a good and honest guy while Jace fights with both natures all the time. Jace is also very moody and sometimes I just want to throttle his delightful neck.I have never pitted Simon and Jem against the other so I don't honestly know which one I prefer. I love them both!
Clary and Tessa. Hmm. So I love Clary because she's hilarious and she sometimes reacts to things the same way that I would (she also loves books!). I love Tessa because she is willing (and determined) to do anything to help and she also loves books. Sometimes I wanted to strangle Clary just because she could be so stupid. Tessa could sometimes be a little boring (especially in the beginning of the first book and several parts o f the last). So because of this I shall choose...Clary!
Will Jem and Tessa..I also like TMi characters but the above are my favorites..

WILL all the way I like Jace don't get me wrong but I love will more. And definitely Tessa over Clary for some reason I just don't like Clary( at least in the first three books). And Honestly I can't pick over Jem and simon I love both of the characters but I can't compare them I feel like they're too different.
