I personally hated the movie! I thought that the book was much better. I feel like the director didnt follow the story line of the book. My teacher kept telling me font watch the movie, its terrible. But she was completely right! I hated this book sooo much! What did you guys think?

I liked the movie as a movie, if I completely disregard the book and think of it as just a MOVIE.

However, if I think about it as it is based of the book, I would have to say that while the movie did what it had to do to make it adaptable etc. it did NOT do the book justice and changed a lot of what i think were important points.

I watched the movie first without knowing about that it was based on a book.

It was fantastic. the movie is just simply fantastic.

until... i read the book.

THE BOOK IS FREAKING WAY MUCH BETTER. nuff' said.

i read the book then saw the movie, the novel is way better it is more descriptive whereas the movie doesnt have much of that inside info

The books were a lot better than the movie although I wasn't too upset about how the movie was. I thought that the Director could have followed the story line better but apart from that the characters were fine and I enjoyed it, although the books were a lot more action packed and I just couldn't put them down. It's on my list to read book 3 when it comes out and the mini series in between the actual series of the books! :)

THE BOOK!! I don't think that there is a book in this world that people have chosen the movie over the book. Especially this one. They totally left out the fire scene. I respect their decision in actors though because Alex Pettyfer is totally gorgeous!! I really wanna know who Pittacus Lore is. He can't be an alien lets be realistic here.

Allee DeCoste oh. turns out pittacus lore is 2 guys. i was expecting something a little more secrety. a bit disappointed.

I saw the movie first and thought it was ok. But when I read the book, the pace was so slow compared to the movie that it drove me crazy. So I like the movie better.

Book was better definately, books generally are!

book was way better. the movie was terrible it had scenes missing and i hated sarah

watched the movie yesteray and i definately liked the book better...the movie seemed to be all out of wack and things missing...it was a good movie though if you had not read the book...

Unpopular opinion time!

I couldn't stand this book.

I'd seen the movie first, and thought it was pretty decent. But now I'll admit that was just because Alex Pettyfer was in it.

I was expecting more of the book. I couldn't stand any of the characters, and honestly, part of me was seriously hoping Sarah would have stayed trapped in the burning building and the story would have ended. I would have been okay with that.

Considering how much I ended up disliking the book, I had to rewatch the movie to see if I'd been crazy for liking it the first time around. And I kind of was. The movie was pretty lame, but compared to the book, it was a glorious masterpiece.

I watched the movie first. And I thought it was great. But the book is far greater than the movie.

the book. but I think the movie didn't mess the whole story though it wasn't clear as the book.

I thought that the book was soooooo much better then the movie was. Does anyone know when the 3rd book is coming out? I can't wait to read it and I've been sitting on pins and needles ever sense I finished the second one!

I saw the movie first but the book had more that the movie skipped out on
So I like the book better

The Book was SOO much better. but the movie had things that i liked that werent in the book. whats with that???

I'd say the movie was great! That is, if I hadn't read the book.

I don't think the movie did justice to the book, and that some of the scenes were misleading compared to what REALLY happened in the story.

book is way better!

Movie was definitely better.

I havent watched d movie so i cant say if its better than d book however i really enjoyed the book. cant wait 2 read d next one

I perfer the book to the movie but I honestly like both. But the movie is jacked up, man

book is always better

I thought the movie was much better.

I didn't mind the movie, but then again I hadn't read the book for a long time, so to me, it seemed pretty alright, alright but flawed. Personally I think the first book dragged a bit, but I liked the second one much better! More action!
