When Zachary Beaver Came to Town
question
What is the theme?

I am reading this for school and we have to do a plot mountain diagram thing and I was wondering if anyone knew what goes on there for the climax and the resolution and all that. Thanks!

Well, I would have to say the main theme and moral is dont judge a book by its cover. The climax of the story would be when Cal and Toby get into a fight. The introduction was just basically telling and introducing you to the characters. The rising action was when Cals brother went to fight in war. The climax was when Wayne (Cals Brother) passed away, and when Tobys mom got divorced. The falling action was when they finally baptized Zachary. Then the resolution would be when Paulie Rankin came back and when all the fights were over. At the end everyone was happy. Hope that helped answer your question!
I think that the theme is friendship. Cal and Toby get in some fights, and disagree about somethings, and do some stupid things, but they always each others backs. Thats what I think...
