It would have to be Cam Gigandet for me, he's who I kept picturing when reading it. He would look great shirtless and tattoed, preferably with guyliner even though it's not in the book.

The actor who may play Travis must be in his early 20's because he has to look really young. It's not just the tattoos. That can be added afterwards. He's also got to be a strong leading actor, not just a pretty face. Possibly Nicholas Hoult? I would love a foreign actor to play Travis and learn the American accent well. He also needs to be in top physical shape! I do like some of your suggestions ladies, good eye!

but ultimately i think steven r. mcqueen can do it for me. he plays a young role in the vampire diaries but in all his interviews he looks a lot older and scruffier and i think with the right styling he can pull it off. not to mention his body is awesome already and he is in the right age range. and he already has some tats!

Mario Casas, I've pictured him since the beginning. Travis is so much like Hugo, the character he played in Three Steps Above Heaven.
