SOLVED. HQN romance - H is secretly writing a book about h's mother [s]

Hi

Im trying to remember a HQN book where the H (Mark?) purposely finds the h in a secluded house (on the beach?). He has secret plans to write a story about her famous dead mother(think actress?). The h has issues with reporters - as they are constantly trying to get a story. So he doesnt tell her. Shes also an artist - I think a sculpter - I think at some point he brings her wood from the beach.

She finds out after shes fallen for him and is upset. Think h is called Emily. Book was published around the early 1980-1990s.

I'm almost certain this book is part of the Harlequin Series during the 1980-1998.
