Amanda Laura, I chose from your shelves either Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children (Miss Peregrine #1) by Ransom Riggs or Undead and Unwed (Undead, #1) by MaryJanice Davidson . I read and loved Miss Peregrine, and the Undead series just sounds fun and new.

Yeah I'd recommend it and I'm planning on finishing the series, I didn't really like the main characters or story but the concepts where interesting.

You could probably read this one and be okay, but I would suggest reading Dark Lover (Black Dagger Brotherhood, #1) by J.R. Ward first.

Oops I didn't see the first one sorry. Then I chose Dark Lover (Black Dagger Brotherhood, #1) by J.R. Ward for Janis. This is the first one. You should read them in order. There will be characters and spoilers in the other books if you don't.
