Wag naman Now na. Later. Or sometime Soon? hehehe.

But if mapasama man sya sa TFG 100, for sure mababasa ko din yan, kahit di ko pa balak basahin!

R.A - yeah, saw the footnotes. Actually interesting yung footnotes. :D

So, sana mapasama nga yan sa list. Para mapagtyagaang basahin agad. :D

H | 684 comments Hehehe sige...puwede ang "soon." Oo nga, maraming footnotes yan...kakaloka, pero interesting din ang footnotes. Parang mala Oscar Wao hehe.

J (just-a-passer-by) | 23 comments The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich (author: William L. Shirer)

This is the one of the most comprehensive accounts of Hitler's Third Reich -- from its roots, to its rise in power, to the conquest of Europe, and eventually to its downfall. It is a very good mixture of first-hand accounts (Shirer was in Germany until he got sent away in 1940) and well-researched facts and stories all rolled up into one book. The book also contains some interesting and damning tidbits, like how Hitler survived 43 assassination attempts and how officials of the German Army almost were successful in overthrowing him. It's a monster read at about 1200 pages or so, but you will surely learn a lot about the darkest era in history.

Mas maganda kasi to, kesa dun sa series niya ng Intoy.

Lyn Liza (elaineandbiting) Ang Sandali ng Mga Mata ni Alvin Yapan- a tale weaving the folklores of Bicol and the fictional Nueva family with it's main storyteller being a modern 'pilosopo'- the 'albularyo'. It's a very unique story showcasing how history repeats itself.

Reev Robledo (reevrobledo) | 128 comments If there will ever be a sci-fi read, I nominate:
All You Need Is Kill by Hiroshi Sakurazaka
All You Need Is Kill by Hiroshi Sakurazaka.

Because of the action, it's an easy and quick read. 200 pages only. And...it's going to be a movie starring Tom Cruise next year. It would be fun to talk about time-loop theories during the online discussions and F2F.

message 68: by Aloy (new)

Aloy | 38 comments American Gods by Neil Gaiman.

MYSTERY, SATIRE, FANTASY, MYTHOLOGY, HORROR, SEX AND ADVENTURE.

What is not to like?

message 69: by Elle (new)

Elle (perdufleur) | 10 comments Six Years by Harlan Coben - a good thriller/suspense book. This book gave me goosebumps while I was reading it; felt like I was with Jake Fischer, the protagonist, in his adventures.
