I like him, but not for Finnick.
We need someone less well known and less bad boy looking. I can't get the image of Channing in G.I. Joe out of my head. That's not a bad image ;) but it's not Finnick. Finnick is more the pretty boy(specifically the Greek godish look). But one that can turn lethal, of course.
I loved the cast in the first one, because except for a few awesome actors like Donald Sutherland and Stanley Tucci, they weren't that big. I think a huge actor like Channing would put too much focus on Finnick. I love Finnick, but he's still a minor character. And we're not supposed to be aware that he's on the 'good' side till later.

I think Finnick can't be replicated from the image in my head... I also do not like Channing Tatum as an actor... I understand he's hot or whatever, but I don't think he's a good actor... He reminds me of someone who'd play a dumb brute or something... No facial reactions... Sorry =)
