Melanie Cusick-Jones (melc-j) For a 'Triple Jump' read - you need to read a trilogy :) nice and easy - three steps = three books, no more and no less...

Tell us your trilogy and what you thought of it here!

I think you've mentioned not liking MJ as much before - want to tell us why....? I'm intrigued now :)

Kirsten (kielianne) Will give this a go... not sure which trilogy to go with but it may be this one (if I reread the first book):
Shiver (The Wolves of Mercy Falls, #1) by Maggie Stiefvater Linger (The Wolves of Mercy Falls, #2) by Maggie Stiefvater Forever (The Wolves of Mercy Falls, #3) by Maggie Stiefvater

Melanie Cusick-Jones (melc-j) Is shiver good - I really like the covers for these, but haven't gotten round to them.

I'm thinking I'll be doing The Knife of Never Letting Go by Patrick Ness The Ask and the Answer by Patrick Ness Monsters of Men by Patrick Ness

They've been on my book shelf for a while and I need something to push me to read another trilogy - last one was The Hunger Games and so these'll have to be good to compare

I'm more inspired now you've said that :) I've struggled to pick them up yet this year

Hayley Waters (hayleywaters) | 53 comments To Melanie: The stuff is hard to get into, with the amount of slang and stuff it uses and it is very dark... possibly even more than the Hunger Games one because it's somewhat more... barbaric, I guess?

message 12: by Karina (new)

How'd you like it?

message 20: by Michael (new)

Michael Cargill (michaelcargill) | 372 comments Once they got into the arena I quite enjoyed it, but I don't really find the rest of the world very convincing.

I quite like the idea of dystopia worlds, but have only read 1984 and Fahrenheit 451 before HG. 1984 I found very believable, but 451 not so much.

There seems to be something missing in both 451 and HG, but I'll carry on with the trilogy anyway.
