Lol Laura that is awesome that you tweet that. I tried to get her into fear street but she isn't interested in them because she feels she will finish them to quickly and she wants a challenge. I put her onto harry potter but she finished them and they werent scary enough haha.
I have tried her with the immortal series by Alyson Noel but there was to much focus around sex and trying to "Do it" for my liking even though she did enjoy the books. Argh teens...they are so hard to please haha.
I have told her though that I am buying fear street whether she wants them or not because i enjoy reading them still hehe :D

I love these books. I also have a big selection of vhs movies of his movies. I still watch them around Halloween:)

Try the used book stores and thrift shops. They usually have a lot of them. One time I went into a small local thrift store and came out with a large box full of them, only slightly used. There were a lot that had alternate paths you could choose in the books.

Also you could try The night of the solstice By L.J. Smith

Thank Tammy, I actually both of those L J Smith books, I might have a quick look over them again then give them to her :-)

My son is 12 almost 13 and he really liked the Maze Runner series. I only read the first book though. It was good but not super scary. Is that what your daughter is looking for? I'm always looking for series for my son too. He's not a big reader so it has to be something that really catches his attention.

Hi Lisa my son (12.5) has just come in raving about Maximum Ride

Thank you all so much, I have found her some more reading material that she is excited about though she has informed me that she has to read the Iron Fae series first lol.
