The photos are beautiful, but it's much too short and doesn't work on an ordinary kindle. It's okay on a tablet. Might work as a coffee table book, but it seems to be only for kindle.

R.J. Gilbert (rjagilbert) | 14 comments I've only been able to publish this book on the Amazon Kindle. It won't show up on Goodreads because it has no SBIN number. Someday I'll get around to publishing a hard copy, but until then it is only available for the Kindle and Kindle apps.

I think the prologue explains my intentions best, but you have to understand that I took some serious creative license for the sake of storytelling. I've been criticized by both the scientific and the religious community for writing this book. I'll let the reader decide if it is to be categorized as fantasy, blasphemy, or historical fiction.

Robert, you can put a book on Goodreads, that you have self-published on Amazon Kindle, even without an ISBN number. I put this book on Goodreads: Lessons in Paradise that a colleague published for the Kindle and the Nook. If you have a good cover image, you can also post that with your book synopsis.

Robert, check out this thread, in the Goodreads Feedback Group (you don't have to be a member). It points to several other sources of tips for authors.

Leonardo Noto (leonardonoto) | 114 comments I have two books that I'd like to shamelessly self plug.

1. "Intrusive Memory" -- A memoir about how I overcame sadistic child abuse that resulted in a severe case of PTSD to claw my way through college and into medical school, where I graduated in the top of my class. Written during my 3rd year of medical school and published 2wks ago (5.5 years later).

2. "The Cannabinoid Hypothesis" -- A dark medical thriller that I wrote during my fourth year of medical school during my psychiatry and neurosurgery rotations. Dr. Frank Shoemaker has just committed a horrific crime...but was it justified. Now Dr. Shoemaker is on the run and pursued by professional vigilantes!

Dr. Leonardo Noto (nom de plume)
--Also author of "The Life of a Colonial Fugitive.

Muhammad Eesa (muhammadeesa) | 5 comments Your body is made up of some 60 chemical elements out of the 94 naturally occurring elements. How did the chemical elements form? Has the universe always contained these elements or did they evolve from a simple beginning?

The story of the elements is the story of the universe and is your story. ‘The cosmic history of the elements’ is a brief account of this incredible story. The book also looks at one of the most beautiful ideas in the history of science: the periodic table of the elements.

This book is my first publication in popular science. My intention in writing this book was to present an incredible story in an interesting and easy to understand manner.

The book is available in paperback format and also as a Kindle e-book.
