A quick look at the help pages doesn't show any indication of a minimum number of books that constitutes a series. I've seen authors add the series designation with the first book published.



Absolutely agree. If the books are only loosely linked, you don't have to number them, but I want to know they're linked.
Lacking other info, I'll usually use the name of a linking character. Or the name of the setting, if it's reasonably distinctive. You could name this series "High School," since that seems to be the linking factor.

Can any of you help? I've deducted from the back cover of Footfree & Fancyloose that it is the second book of a series, Bass Ackwards and Belly Up being the first in said series. I have no idea what I should call the series though and can't find more info than that they ARE a "series" or at least (pre-)sequels to each other.
