Fear question

I was disappointed Edilio was gay only because he was the character I had a crush on and I always seem to have a crush on the gay one..

It all started when I was 10 and liked N'Sync...

Yeah Edilio is about the only guy you can really trust your life with in the FAYZ and in Fear he was just as awesome as he was in the other books. But I feel like his "coming out" was just a bit too random. I mean, there were never any signs or anything until Fear that he was gay and I swear to God that I'm not a homophobe or anything but I'm just...not comfortable with him being gay :/

I give him a 10 But sadly he is not my favorite character.

On a scale of 1-10, Edilio gets... infinity!

I am so, so glad there is a discussion dedicated to the awesomeness that is Edilio. From the very beginning he was one of my favorite characters, and then he just kept getting better and better. Since everyone is mentioning him being gay, I want to say that I think it's great how that fact barely even mattered. You know how sometimes there's that token gay character who doesn't really serve a purpose other than being gay? Edilio is so freaking amazing that him being gay was like "okay, whatever," and then it was back to "yeah, go kick some butt, Edilio!"

But Roger and Justin are great characters, too. A lot of people say they weren't important, but I think they were. They brought some really nice, touching humanity.

Was it just me I did you understand straight away from when Sinder was talking about gossip in the FAYZ and 'affectionate speculation about Edilio and the nature of his friendship with the Artful Roger' (p.173) that Edilio was gay???

i have always loved Edilio! and when he finally took a stand against Sam, i was like, 'whoa!'. i mean, i knew he was just going to lash out at Sam at some point, but i never realised how much he was holding inside him! and the bit about Roger?? i was seriously surprised, but then again, im happy he found someone :D

He is awesome! He really is Sam's rock.

Of all the people in the FAYZ who wold have turned out to be gay... I never would have geussed it to be Edilio :D
I mean when Michael Grant mentioned that SOMEONE would turn out to be gay Edilio just slipped my mind!

20! I loved the whole scene where he chews out Sam for being all carefree and "rocking the boat" XDDD It was awesome. And I couldn't help but give an audible "aww" when I read when he called Roger babe. I admit I had to reread that part slightly confused but then I was like, omg! Yes! I love Edilio<3 He's awesome. I like how Sam came to terms that Edilio was like the boss and he was a warrior. :D

Lol, my friend and I just started the book and she calls me and says, I think edilio is gay, and guess what, she was RIGHT! Win

I like Grant's integration of the LGBT Comm. In these books.

Edilio is kick-ass the whole book, but he shows his stuff in this one. What a great character!

He has been mu favorite character since the first book.
Fact- I was on Tumblr and came across a post about that said Edilio was the gay character.. so yeah when I read the book? not shocking at all.

And he has been awesome since day one. He is a natural born leader.

I think the best part of this was that I never saw it coming. It was a surprise, but a totally awesome one! I'm so happy for him :)

I have loved Edilio ever since the first book. Most definitely from the beginning my favorite character hands down.

And yeah when him and Roger did the reaching out part I had to reread it like ten times it was that shocking. But I'm so happy that Edilio found someone to give him happiness. He deserves it so much after all he did for everyone in the FAYZ. And no one even acknowledges what he's done! They're just all "SAM SAVE US!" when Edilio is the one doing most of the work!

I can't even put a number to his awesomeness because there's just too much of it!

Edilio is awesome by default, so a 20.

Omg when I read the part where Edilio and Roger were reaching toward eachother, i was like WWHHAAAA?!?!?!?!?!? I had to stop reading for a minute to give my head time to catch up. That completely blind sided me!!
Edilio is awesome and has taken a stand from the very beginning of the FAYZ. Love Love Love Edilio!! And his gayness just is freggin amazing!! :D

I'm seriously so happy he's in a relationship. And Roger is sorta REALLY AWESOME. Sam is a fail, and I agree with you about Quinn. In my head, I punched him.
