((Oh!! So sorry!! I got kicked off and just now got back on!!!))
Geoff looked at the arguing group. "OK, well... I'm Geoffry Whitson. I'm Laya's dad."
"By blood, if nothing else..." Laya muttered.

"You know what, Shane? You talk to him." Laya patted him on the back and went inside. "I'm not talking to him..."
Geoff watched his daughter storm off. "So... now what?"
Geoff watched his daughter storm off. "So... now what?"
"Eh, I don't know. I glared, passed the conversation on to Shane, and now I'm here." Laya shrugged and sat down. "Well, this sure does put a twist on things."
Christy sighed. "Yeah, I guess it does... I'm gonna go take a walk in the woods." she said, standing up.

((sorry! i'm still here but going to the movies in like 15 minutes so I g2g in a bit))
Laya nodded. She had to think things over.
Belinda didn't know where her husband had went... she told him to wait there in that tree... was that him down there? She shook his head and climbed lower to hear the conversation.

Christy headed out of the warehouse. She looked at the inviting woods eagerly. Just in case, she grabbed her knife. You never know what you'll find in these woods.

Laya looked up at Kayla. "Hey..."
Geoff watched Christy come out and Kayla leave. "What are you doing? It's not safe out there!" He told her when he saw her intention.

Christy turned to look at him. "Just because you say you are my friends father doesn't mean I trust you. I'm fine. I'm strong. I can handle it. Why do you even care?" she spat, narrowing her eyes.
"I care because you're my daughter's friend. I have done a lot of wrong things in my life, but I'm trying to make it better. I stayed away to make life easier on her, and now I see that it did nothing. But I can at least try to keep her happy by keeping you safe." Geoff walked passed Christy to block her way.
Geoff's eyes softened, but he shook his head. "No."
Belinda pursed her lips. She didn't see any good coming out of this... In her worry, she lost control and there was a lightning bolt a few feet away from Christy.
Laya looked at Kayla. "I do too, but that's just because he showed up..."

Christy jumped out of the way. Suddenly, she felt a fiery anger pour through her. Flames began to build onto her hands. Furiously, she took a step forwards. "Get. Out. Of. My. Way."
Geoff looked at the trees. "Linda!" He shook his head and looked back toward Christy. "I can't do that, Christy..."
Christy looked at him, hatred rushing through her eyes. "What is wrong with you? I want to get out. You are keeping me in. How do I know that you aren't working for the EES? Keeping us in one place would make it easier to catch us." Hatred was replaced my distrust.
"Staying together will also make it easier to make sure everyone is alright." Geoff said.
A taller, more aged Laya came down. "Geoff, just let her pass."
"Belinda-"
"Let her pass."
Geoff hesitantly moved out of Christy's way.

Christy glanced gratefully in her direction. Walking past Geoff, she stared at him darkly, then continued on her way into the forest. "Stupid old worrywart." she muttered to herself.
"I heard that!" Geoff called to her. He turned to Belinda. "She's in there, but she probably won't talk to you, either."
Belinda nodded and climbed the tree again.
Belinda nodded and climbed the tree again.
Christy ignored him. The ground felt springy beneath her feet, giving off the feeling of lightness. Christy felt entirely at peace. The woods did that to her. Suddenly, she collapsed. The last thought that occurred to her was,
They found me...
They found me...
Dr. Snow came up behind the girl. "Ah... the fire one..." He picked her up and brought her to the car. "She shouldn't have wandered so far..." He took some notes and drove off.
Dr. Snow checked on the elementals. "Ah... Yes, she's awake. Fire... so interesting a power. So, tell me, what's your name? And don't try your powers... you'll find they won't work. If you so much as try, you're put under sedation once more."
Christy just glared at him, her face expressionless. She wasn't going to say anything. He didn't scare her.
"Ah.. yes... I didn't expect anything more. Well, I just have to wait for the tests to be finished to know your information. I was just hoping that you would tell me." Dr. Snow went to another room and grabbed his chart. "Well... I guess, since you're awake, it's time for the first test."
Dr. Snow turned out the lights. "Now, we must see what sets off those powers of yours... You're going to see a series of memories, and I will, too. We will see which ones cause you to react..."
He started the memories.
Dr. Snow turned out the lights. "Now, we must see what sets off those powers of yours... You're going to see a series of memories, and I will, too. We will see which ones cause you to react..."
He started the memories.
"That won't help any... They will be inside of your head, and I will see them as well..." Dr. Snow muttered, looking into a device resembling a telescope.
Christy saw each memory come. She smiled slightly. At least he didn't know that memories know longer affected her. She could just ignore them.
Dr. Snow watched the memories, and noted that there wasn't a reaction. Then, suddenly, there was a burning house.. screaming... He had to back away from the device and he blinked several times.
Christy felt the same old prickle as she relived this memory, but she didn't react to it. She remained perfectly calm.
The lights came back on. "Hmmm... interesting..." Dr. Snow took some notes. "Well, the next one might get a reaction..." Dr. Snow came at her with a needle with green liquid in it. "This usually works..." It was an emotion changer. And he might be able to read the emotions in her eyes...
Christy backed away from him. She knew that it wouldn't change anything, but she hated needles. Angrily she felt herself summoning her powers again. So what if they sedated her?
"Ah... anger... That usually is one." He put the needle down out of her reach and went back to his notes. "Good... good..."
Christy realized that by showing him any emotion at all she was giving him what he wanted. So, she sat back down, face emotionless again, staring blankly at a wall.
"And a quick learner... maybe we can keep you for the EES... Yes, well... good night." Dr. Snow left, making sure that the machine to sedate her if she were to try her powers was on, and left.
((lol.. Well, Christy is captured... that's pretty much all that's happened...))
((yeah...))
Christy snorted. "You'll never keep me!" she snarled. He already knew about anger, she might as well use it. "I would rather kill myself then work for you."
