Laya nodded. "Well, I can try to understand that. But here's the thing, do you know that you can do it?"

Christy returned her gaze to the ground. "I know that I can't do it." her gaze hardened. "But I don't need any half-blood to tell me."
"Half-blood?" Laya cocked her head. "Well, that's beside the point. You're letting one little comment get to you. If that comment made you act like this, what if next time it's worse? Or more than one? My point is..." Laya looked up at the stars. "Well, I would give you this big long life lesson on 'sticks and stones', but I don't have one. I'd tell you don't worry about it, but I think that would fit into the 'people telling you what to do' category. So I have nothing left. My point is, people's heads work differently. They're not all the same. She doesn't know you, yet. Because I think that..." Laya looked at Christy. "Well, I was going to say, I think that you could do anything if you set your mind to it, but I think that would fit under the 'telling you what you can do' category." Laya got up and walked to the edge of the forest to lean against a tree and look at the sky.
((kk, bye))
"I already ate." She shrugged.
"I already ate." She shrugged.
Laya wrinkled her nose and went inside again. She looked around, but didn't see a bed, so she just lied down on a random part of the floor and fell asleep.
Christy lay awake for a long time before she fell asleep, watching the fire slowly burn out.
((I g2g in 5 minutes. be back on later!))
((I g2g in 5 minutes. be back on later!))
((what happened someone give me a summery))
(((screams) YAY!!!! OK, so, we're in a warehouse, almost everyone's up, Christy and Kayla don't really get along... Oh, and people are going to sleep))
((why are we in a werehouse? we escaped right?))
((Yeah, Kayla saved us all, and the warehouse is special. Only elementals can see it.))
((oh i get it so i should be falling asleep?))
Lyla streched and started falling into a deep sleep it had been a long day.
Laya woke up and saw others asleep. It was still night, but she thought she heard something. She quietly went outside and stared up at the sky.
Lyla dreamed of the time she had accidentally killed someone with her flood she started crying in her sleep
Laya heard a sound from inside. She went back in and saw Lyla crying. She started shaking her awake.
"Lyla, Lyla! It's alright... Lyla!"
"Lyla, Lyla! It's alright... Lyla!"
"what? what? what happened?" she said confused
"You were haven't a bad dream. It's OK, now..." Laya said quietly.
"i don't remeber..." Lyla said slowly
"That's fine... I just heard you crying, so I came to see what was wrong..." Laya tilted her head.
"yeah i should be fine thanks."
Laya nodded and went back outside. She sat there until the sun rose. She realized that she didn't have any clothes. She stared at the sun. "I think we're going to be late for school..." She muttered to herself.
Christy laughed. "School? That's what is on your mind? I don't think it's safe to go to school. No doubt they're still looking for us."
((wait why don't you have clothes))
Lyla heard "yeah but would we be able to go school?"
Lyla heard "yeah but would we be able to go school?"
Christy looked at her. "No way. That's probably the first place they're going to look! They aren't stupid. They know what to do."
((They were no the run, they didn't have time to grab clothes))
Laya grinned. "Well, that's the first thing that came to mind. Yesterday I said I'd set the alarm so that we didn't have to rush... and, well... Now I think we're gonna be gone for awhile. Odd things come to my head at random times..."
Laya grinned. "Well, that's the first thing that came to mind. Yesterday I said I'd set the alarm so that we didn't have to rush... and, well... Now I think we're gonna be gone for awhile. Odd things come to my head at random times..."
"yeah that's something really random"
((i gotta go i'll be back in a few hours))
((i gotta go i'll be back in a few hours))
Christy shook her head. "I'll say. Look, I saved the skins on the rabbits. We can use those to make hats and gloves."
Laya shook her head. "I'm not cold."
Laya looked up. "I don't get cold. Ever since getting my power, I haven't felt any temperature other than a mild feeling."
Laya stood up and climbed a tree. She felt closer to the sky that way. She went as high as she could go, then froze. She saw a man looking down at the warehouse. She screamed and climbed down the tree and ran into the warehouse, shouting at Lyla and Christy to follow her.
"There's someone in the tree!"
"There's someone in the tree!"
Christy bolted to her feet. Quickly, she sprang up a wall of fire surrounding the warehouse. "Come on, we have to run!" she called.
Laya watched the man climb down the tree, and she thought she recognized him... was that...
"Wait." She told Christy. "I think..." She walked up to the wall of fire, but not through it. "Dad?"
The man nodded.
"Wait." She told Christy. "I think..." She walked up to the wall of fire, but not through it. "Dad?"
The man nodded.
"What? Suddenly you remember you have a daughter?" Laya's eyes hardened. "How did you know I was even here?"
((I'm gonna go make her parents...))
((I'm gonna go make her parents...))
"Laya... What are you doing here?" Geoffry asked.
"I could ask you the same question, Geoff."
"Fair is fair, I guess. You... you're an elemental, aren't you?"
Laya spread her fingers to show him.
"Same as your mother..."
