Christy looked at her, anger flaring up. "Do you really think I'm that self centered, that ignorant? I won't let my problems get in the way." she turned. "I thought you would have realized that by now."
((kk...))
"Then what's the problem?" Laya leaned against a tree.
"Then what's the problem?" Laya leaned against a tree.
Laya looked down. "I'm going to guess by the fact that no ordinary rabbit would do that, you're Kayla." Her voice remained calm and unemotional. It only sounded like that when she was upset, scared, nervous, and trying to be comforting at the same time. Going into an emotional overload.

Laya shook her head. "So... so much is wrong. So many people are going to get hurt by these people, and I don't know how to stop them. For the first time in my life, I just want to give up and forget about it and call out 'mommy', but she wouldn't care. For the first time in my life, I don't have any ideas on how to defeat something... I was vulnerable, and I still am. I'm useless to everyone as a whole right now. I feel like I'm letting someone important down, too... And I don't know who..." Laya shook her head. "Like I said... everything..." Laya's eyes widened. "And there's still the others!"

"I don't know, can you reverse time? Change our lives so that we're normal?" Laya slumped down in defeat, than stood back up. "I'll look for some veggies and fruit..." She muttered, and walked away.

Laya found out that the surrounding area was barren of edible food. She pursed her lips and went back to the warehouse. "You wouldn't happen to have food stored here, would you?"

"I'll take... door number 1, Kayla!" Laya said in her best 'excited person on a game show' voice. She went back to normal. "I'm a veggie."

"Wow..." Laya walked around in wonder and the smell of vegetables hit her nose. "Wow..." She sighed and walked back to Kayla. "All I can say is... wow..."

"Is she one of us? Or does she just know?"
Laya panicked again. "Where's your dad?"
"Why are they in Mexico?" Laya raised an eyebrow.
Sarah woke up. Where am I? She thought panickedly. She then had her memories rush back to her. Scientists, needles, rain, darkness... it was to much to bear.
"Laya?" she whispered, as she realized she was in a car.
She saw Shane and some of the others in the car but no Laya or Christy. "Laya? Christy?" she whispered frightened.

"Wait... did you hear something? Oh! We left the others in the car!" Laya ran out to the car and opened the door. "Oh, hi, Sarah. We should be OK... for now. No one but people like us can see where we are."

"Uh, what? Hi? Um... yeah? Where are we?" Sarah said. All of this information was making her head hurt.
Shane groaned. He felt like he had been roughly dragged down a hill. (( :D )) "Ow...."

((lol...))
"Um.. we're about three miles away. Kayla, she helped us get here. We got away from those people. This warehouse, no one except elementals can see it." Laya heard Shane groan. "Mr. McGregor?"

Shane rubbed his head. "What? " he moaned. "Get me some ice..... please. " he added.
Sarah just sat there. She had to sort through all her thoughts. "Warehouse? That we can only see? How is that possible?" she asked after a short pause.

"That part... well, that part I don't know." She turned to Shane. "Sorry, Mr. McGregor. We.. well, we couldn't carry you. We kinda... dragged you downhill. Otherwise those people would have noticed..."
"Thanks." Shane said sarcastically. "By the way, stop calling me Mr. McGregor. It's Shane got it?" he said. Shane was definitely in a bad mood.
Sarah shook her head, she got out of the car. "Whatever."
Sarah shook her head, she got out of the car. "Whatever."
"Well, I didn't know that! I just know that you were my gym coach, and you didn't tell us your first name!" Laya glared at him. "Besides, it was the only way to get you away. I didn't trust you, but I trusted them less." Laya walked away from the car and started to make a salad.

Laya finished her salad quickly and went back to the car. "Really, you shouldn't. Well... I don't know how your mind works, so never mind. This may be the worst day of your life, or it may be the best. Who knows? I don't... All I know, is that I'd be upset to be stuck with a bunch of students running away from the same thing as them... whatever that is."
Shane rolled his eyes. "I'm not the happiest person on earth," he smiled, as though he was sharing his own private joke. "Got it?"
Sarah smiled. "You remind me of my grandmother. She was an Earth Elemental too."
Sarah smiled. "You remind me of my grandmother. She was an Earth Elemental too."
(( Shane is an Earth Elemental, just to let you know. I've made their personality's kind of grouchy. But they're really nice. ))
"Well, neither am I. Deal with it. So, you do Earth? And, since you're older than the bunch of us, you've obviously done something right. What did you do, and can you teach us?" Laya's eyes hardened.
"I do have a few tricks up my sleeve. Let's just say you can't be a limp noodle." Shane said, getting serious. "I'll train you girls since you're so clueless I guess." Shane said, this was tiring him. Being nice all the time was hard work.
Sarah chewed on a carrot she had found in one of the storage rooms and was watching Shane, Laya, and Kayla talk.

Shane made a face at her. He was a teen at heart, he had just aged faster because of some side-effects of the Scientist's testing.
