Christy heard a rucous going on inside the building. She had only stepped outside to take a fresh breath of air. She quickly charged inside, and almost crashed into Sarah. "What's happening?!"

Laya looked up. She didn't trust this man, but she also didn't like the idea of death.

"Of course, Dr. Rebbel..." Dr. Andrew Snow said. He had pulled to the side of the road and was trying to see through to the DQ. He finally saw it and stood next to Dr. Rebbel. "Can you tell how many?"

Christy noticed Laya and called to her, since Sarah was being unresponsive. "Laya! What's going on? Why are all of these people here? Who's that lady!" Christy felt panic growing inside of her chest. Suddenly, as normally happened, her hands burst into flames.

Sarah fell onto her elbows. "Youch!"

Shane walked out of the door. The Scientists were standing right there just talking.

Christy felt the fire grow along her arms until it was up to her shoulders. She tried to make it go out, but she couldn't. Fear crawled along her belly, making it hard to think.

"There's people after people like us, elementals. Christy, we have to go! He's helping us." Laya pointed to the gym teacher.

"That many in a town like this?" Dr. Snow raised an eyebrow.

Sarah got up and followed Shane. "What are we going to do?" she whispered to him. She usually didn't look up to her gym teachers but he reminded her of her grandma.

Christy turned on her, letting Dr. Snow crash to the floor. "I'm not a specimen" she snarled. "And I'm not part of any collection! Will anyone tell me who you are?!"

Sarah wanted to just melt. The world was black and dreary, she had made it that way and didn't exactly want to make it light again. "He's right Laya."

Christy felt the fire envelop her entire body. Menacingly, she stepped towards Dr. Rebbel. "What plane? Who is Mr. McGregor?" she slashed out at her. "Why won't anyone tell me anything?"

Trin fell to the ground. Her hands and face were bleeding, but she got up and tried to attack Dr. Rebbel again.

Christy put out a hand to stop her. "I need some answers." Reaching out, she grabbed Dr. Rebbel by the throat as well. "Explain yourself!" she snarled.

Christy pulled Dr. Rebbel closer to her, so their noses were almost touching. "I'm not scared of you." she hissed. "I will not stop until you answer my questions and then leave!"

Dr. Rebbel shrugged. "Fair enough, I wouldn't trust me either." she said as she pressed her middle finger and thumb together. The EES catchers would be coming now but the little Elementals couldn't do anything about it.

Christy narrowed her eyes. "What did you do?" she hissed, sensing a change in attitude from Dr. Rebbel.

Christy gasped as she felt the drug sink into her. In one last attempt, she lit her hands back onto scorching, before she fell onto the ground, unconscious.
