Sorry for posting so many, but they are so stinking true! I swear that Nerd Girl Problems is secretly a documentary on my life.
For me, that is at church. They have us each read a paragraph, and the words some kids older than me get stuck on are just embarrassing.
That is sad...For me, it's people at the mall or high school kids I hear talking. I'm just disgusted.
They pepper their speech with bad language and slang and although they think that they sound awesome for doing it, they sound lazy because they don't want to actually express what they really mean. It is sad.
I do say "LOL" on Goodreads, because obviously you can't hear me laughing on the other end, but in real life? That's just not right.
I KNOW! JUST LAUGH. Or since clearly it wasn't funny enough to warrant a laugh, don't say LOL.I can barely write lol on the computer, even. I just *laugh*.
As I said before, it sounds lazy.
Alrighty, after a long time on Goodreads, I've got to call it quits. See ya'll in a bit! Brisingr is calling me.

SO. STINKING. TRUE.
Yes, I finished Brisingr and did the LAMEST review in history, so I will be editing that tomorrow.

All these nerd girl problems. They all embody me perfectly.
We'll see.
We'll see.

#19 is my favorite! :)
Nerdgirl issue 463 regarding the 'big debate' on electronic e-readers VS paperback books, is a topic of constant interest and discussion. A book is a book. And as a keen reader, i hartily agree with this!!
Oh, yes. An e-reader would be handy but I will always prefer a real book. Totally agree with the above picture, although in my case it would be chocolate stains!

Love that picture - although I do appreciate e-readers, nothing can truly replace the wonders of a real book :)

The only good thing about an e-reader is that you have so many books at your fingertips. If you live in a small dwelling (my bungalow reminds me of a Hobbit-Hole!), then physical books do take up a lot of room - and i don't have a huge amount of room. My bookshelf is full, so an e-reader might be something that i shall have to concider in future just because of lack of space.

Such a cute picture!! Love it! Although e-readers are handy, nothing replaces a real book :)

"You get worried that your essays sound plagarized"
That has so happened to me. A teacher accused me of plagarizing, I copied and pasted links to EVERYTHING I had looked up that month. She spent who knows how long flicking through things lie "cats" "Sydrian" and I remember there was this particular one that was liike "If I can't have Harry Potter or Adrian Ivashkov or any of them, can I at least get Draco?" before she finally gave up. LOLLLLLL.
That's some dedication right there. Most of my teachers dont even bother to check my long-assed bibliography anymore...

I was accused of this too. My essay was on Harper Lee, author of "To Kill a Mockingbird," and my teacher totally thought I had copied someone else's professional work. She said it sounded and looked "too good" for a grade 10 student. That's what you get for reading every waking hour of the day! A good vocabulary.....which reminds me, have you all heard that they have decided to charge people who use the English language incorrectly? They're calling it "The Syntax!" ;)

My nerdy dilemmas.. I fancy more fictional guys than actual guys in real life! ;)

This is so me --
