Does anyone know where books by this author can be found? Also, have they been translated to English? I checked amazon B&N and ebay with no luck. It sounds right up my alley though.

There are no English translations published. Sadly, only a single short story by this author has made it into English. I think there are copies of this translated from the Polish to German and Czech although I have not personally seen them. It's really too bad as I think this is a great book and loved my (hard to accomplish) reading of it.
Oh, and actually it was written in 1982 but that doesn't change the situation on translations.
It's very old book from 1970's , it's very rare to find them even in Polsih, it' only in libraries.
