Assumed there is a love triangle...?

In an interview Lauren said the people are assuming there is a love triangle without even reading Requiem. Do you think this means that there won't be a love triangle? I think it might be Lena ditches Julian and goes for Alex (Yes, I want that to happen). What do you think that means? Or do you Lauren is just saying that?

Well what does she expect from us. Lena said she loves Julian but she obviously still loves Alex...isn't that the triangle right there? I hope she ditches Julian too though but if Julian still loves Lena that's still a triangle!

Lauren Oliver is clearly torturing us! Which she must enjoy after the ending to both Delirium and Pandemonium. And it's obviously a love triangle unless she immediately ditches someone which she won't be able to do.

Actually Lena never told Julian that she loves him. She just told him to call Delira Love instead

ALL books end with the person who they like first.
it going to be Alex and Lena together.
but if the author wants to make a twist then lena will be with Julian.

I haven't finished Pandemonium yet, but I was getting frustrated of turning page after page and not seeing Alex. I was livid! So I paused my reading and started flipping pages through to the end and was so pissed to see the last page. WTH! You mean I gotta read a whole novel and my fav dude really isn't in it at all? Not only that, but some other dude is in the picture? Ugh!

Can I just say.....Alex risked his life to saved her life TWICE! There should be no hesitation in her decision (if she's faced with choosing, that is) in Requiem. She should drop Julian and everything to run to the man who saved her and helped her see the world for what it really is. I don't even need to read much about Julian or why she falls for him because hands down....there shouldn't be any weight on that leg of that triangle at all. But I'll continue reading...even though it's not going the way I'd like.

I am a huge fan of the series, after seriously thinking about the last page and also what Lauren Oliver said in the interview it made me think...maybe Alex doesnt want Lena. I would feel betrayed, I mean, she snuck into basically the headquarters of the DFA labs to save Julian, but never once went looking for alex. Infact, she never even bothered to confirm he was dead...she just moved on. I am a HUGE fan of Alex so I really hope this is not what she meant...but we'll see

Oh that's a good idea! But I don't want Alex to end up alone, that would be sad:( Haha Alex is awesome so he could have anyone:) And I totally agree with Lena just kind of... forgetting about Alex. It mad me mad >:/

I am almost 100% sure that Lena is going to be with Alex. I have a feeling that Julian is either going to die or end up alone.

Well, didn't Raven tell her that she heard he had died? How else would she get proof? She can't get back into Portland and they didn't have marked graves for people with deleria, did they? I thought they spoke something about that. Not sure who she could get to roam the Crypts looking for him. She really believed he was dead and mourned him. I was hoping she would leave homestead in search of Alex's village, go to his little home and see if he was there, talk to the people that knew him, go be with his things, read his books, smell his clothes, lay in his bed and look at the stars. She was so sure that she had to let go of everything in her before life and continue on and I don't think I could have done that. I would have gathered as much of Alex that I could find to keep as much of him with me. Keep his memory alive.

I do think if I was Lena, knowing a man sacrificed his life for me (twice), I don't think any man could fill those shoes and I would never love again. I'd always find myself comparing any guy to Alex and no one could match. So her falling for Julian so easily was upsetting. Perhaps she saw her previous self in him and she felt it was her duty to save him like Alex did for her.

But I was really aggravated when Lena said she felt more comfortable around Julian than she ever had with Alex....are you kidding me? Ugh!

I think Alex is pissed off at Lena but it wasn't her fault well I mean she did gave up so easily she already assumed the worst on my opinion, don't get me wrong I'm not hating or anything peace & love =)))

I think that Lena forgot about Alex a bit to quickly, I mean, how could she "feel more comfortable with Julian" when she thought Alex had DIED FOR HER?!?! In a few reviews I have read of Pandemonium, people didn't like the "love triangle" but I didn't find there was actually a love triangle, as Alex didn't come back into the story until right at the end, but I think that now Alex has come back, I don't think Alex and Julian will, um, exactly get on! And I think that Alex defiantly has the right to be annoyed!! He comes back, apparently having escaped the Crypts, probably partly for Lena and he finds Lena in love with someone else?!

I JUST NEED TO READ REQUIEM!!! :) :)

Let me just say that the ending of that book made me so upset. I mean, all it said was "Alex." HOW CAN YOU END IT LIKE THAT?! Anyways.. I know that Lena said she was more comfortable with Julian than she ever was with Alex, but does that necessarily mean it is a good thing? When I think of comfortable, I think of friend zone. Alex made her nervous but excited at the same time. That is something that you don't have with just anyone. Her thoughts revolved around him whether she was aware of it or not. I know she said something about how he looked different and his eyes looked harder. Well, I would be pretty messed up if I spent the last year rotting in a jail. I can't even see how she can compare Julian to Alex. I mean, was I the only one who didn't feel ANYTHING towards Julian? I usually fall in love with characters in YA novels but I didn't care much for Julian at all.

I'm thinking that somehow, Hana would get involved or something. And she'll end up with one of Alex and Julian. Who knows? Maybe in the end, they'll find something to remove the cure, and ofcourse Hana will fall in love in one of them. I'm guessing it's Julian. And Lena and Alex will be back together.
