Reads: Destiny: Child of the Sky (La Symphonie des Siècles #6)
I tried to fix this one:
http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/12...
but I am unable to get it to clear.
It read, in another language, that it is #6 when on the Book Profile page. It is Book #3 in the Symphony of Ages series. Not sure what the problem is. It reads correctly on this page:

Thank you!
P.S. I wouldn't mind knowing what I'm doing wrong. Thanks!

Please take a look and make sure I've corrected them to be as they should be. :)

Thanks, ladies! You are the best!

they do say the french edition was broken into 2 volumes...doesn't say if each of those volumes has a different name, or what

Symphony of Ages:

La symphonie des siècles

1. "Kill Me Twice"
2. "Thrill Me to Death"
3. the novella in "I'll Be Home for Christmas"
4. "Take Me Tonight"
5. the novella in "What You Can't See"
6. "First You Run"
7. "Then You Hide"
8. "Now You Die"
9. "Hunt Her Down"
10. "Make Her Pay"
11. the novella in "Guns and Roses"

Huh. The series page says "according to the author's website", but it gives a page which no longer exists and it contradicts the information which is currently on her website. I'll change the series page to match the website.

As I said, there are three novellas that fit into the order and which are why your Bullet Catcher numbers are wrong. If you look at the page on the website (http://www.roxannestclaire.com/romant...) it numbers only the novels and does not put the novellas into the order. If your numbers don't include the novellas in their proper place the readers end up with the frustrating realization (which I just experienced twice in my reading through the books over the last week) that by following the numbers you apply to the books, they have missed things because they missed the novellas in their attempts to read the series in order.
As I said, in reading the series, which I have just done, there are references to the other books which clearly help you see the order in which they go in the series. I understand that you are not going to read the series to get this information which is why I provided the correct order above. If you doubt that order, you can feel free to contact Roxanne herself, at her twitter (https://twitter.com/#!/roxannestclaire) or by e-mail (roxannestc@cfl.rr.com) to verify it. She's a really nice person who responds to all of her e-mail. If you'd like a shortcut to verifying it because you don't want to contact the author for some reason, you can simply look at the original publication dates for each book. They correspond perfectly to the same order I got from reading the details in the books. In order to solve a problem caused by the incorrect placement of the novellas into the series, it does no good to then look at a source that fails to tell where they go at all.

We use partial numbers to indicate short stories or novellas in a series, so there are 8 novels numbered 1-8 with the novellas in sequence at 2.5, 3.5, and 8.5 as you indicated.

Aha! Thank you for the info and for your speedy renumbering! And I hope that people who use the series numbers you guys provide for books appreciate it too. I know I gave thanks several times to whoever did Patterson's "Alex Cross" series on this website. Without that person's help the 18-book series would have been much more confusing.
Have a very nice night.
Click on the name of the series. On the series page, under the "20 works, 17 primary works" and any description, there is an edit link. This will allow you to edit the series numbering and rearrange the order of books.
I went ahead and did this one.
