Gary Ross May Not Direct Catching Fire: Your Thoughts?

Most people seem to agree that Gary Ross did a great job of directing The Hunger Games Trilogy's first film. So when I found out he may not return to direct Catching Fire I was shocked. I felt he stayed close to the source material and made the book and film compliment each other. I'm just concerned if somebody else takes the helm they will not treat the series with as much respect as Gary Ross has.

I agree, I think he should come back, I mean it's not like he isn't making much money and he did a great job.

I agree. There are rumors that it's about money and I hope it's not true. He makes a TON and if he would leave such a socially important film because of money I will lose a lot of respect for him.

Same, it's not like he is getting underpaid and I'm sure it will be even more money for the next film. I hope he stays.
