BEST CHILDHOOD MEMORY: Playing with my best friend Henry for endless summers around the age of 10. It was one of the last years in my old/first house, and there was this enormous backyard with a trampoline, cubby house, an open space of green grass and intense trees/shrubbery at the back. We'd play for hours, dress up as Harry Potter & Hermione, run under the sprinkler, sneak into neighbours backyards...everything. It was like the perfect childhood. I particularly remember onetime we were climbing over the fence to the neighbours backyards, and took a bunch of carrots from their vegetable patch. As we were climbing back over the fence he slipped and grazed his entire calf, there was so much blood EVERYWHERE. We were both grossed out, but didnt want to get in trouble, so we fixed it up ourselves around the side of the house with the disinfectant and bandages and everything :) Just all those summer days are count as my favorite.
And now I haven't spoken to him in two or three years :(
Im going to ask the same question, favorite childhood memory?
No I haven't I'll have to check em out.. thanks! =)

(Melanie, whats your favorite childhood memory? Being only a little older than I, I'd really like to know!)
oo I have quite a few, growing up next to a national park and all...
most of the mother up here worked at Binna Burra, which is a national park hotel and busk walking centre, when we were all very young.
I remember every holiday every mother (or father) would bring their kids to work and barry (a friends father) who was the head ranger used to take us all on bush walks, explaining every tree, creature and bug, taking us to the big flying fox, and harnessing us up tp a big rop that swung out over a cliff that was like 500 meters up into the middle of what used to be a volcano like 500 million years ago.
to be honest I miss it, I still live here, and I still talk to pretty much all of the kids then we are all older and live all over the coast all different ages, but we make it for every birthday back on the mountains at parents houses around bush fires and talk about our feral younger days mucking up in a national park lol
http://www.binnaburralodge.com.au/ this is the park im talking about if your interested
its gone a bit upmarket now and the rop swing got caned but its still a really beautiful place
