If you've been to Europe, where was your favourite place and, if you haven't been, where in Europe would you like to go?

message 1936: by Suz (new)

Suz | 4428 comments David you're in a good thing wanting to retire to Sydney's Northern beaches :)

It's definitely the latter, but I understand it's not as easy for some, as it is for others.

message 1945: by Suz (new)

Suz | 4428 comments Yes, when we were on an expensive Aus holiday, a lady that served us at Coles told us how much a holiday there would cost as she went there with her family, and it was less than we spend here every Christmas.

Do you like going Byron Bay? If you haven't do you want to?

message 1946: by K (new)

K | 1143 comments I am a local to the NSW Far North Coast, so grew up close to Byron. I've always thought the place is so overrated and expensive and full of Ferals. So no, I don't like it. The hinterland, where I grew up is beautiful.

Can you name a small town close to Byron Bay?

message 1947: by Ryan (new)

Ryan Sure can! I went to school at Newrybar.
