My partner and I are off to Singapore and Penang this month. I'm British, I live in France and I love Europe, but outside of that my favourite part of the world is southeast Asia and Australia. I'll never forget the first time i stood on the steps of the Sydney opera house in 1985. For a kid raised in a British council house in a quiet Midlands town it was awesome!
