K | 1143 comments Bookshop. I love buying books and owning an exhaustive library of my own to peruse. Plus, I don't have time limits on the books, so I can read them as quickly or as slowly as I like (sometimes life just gets in the way).

★ Jess  | 3071 comments Really tough. I've gone through a few phases of different bands so its hard to tell. Hunger of the Pine by Alt-J and Seasons (Waiting on You) by Future Islands would have to be right up there, simply because I had them on an endless loop earlier in the year.

Does anyone else have a fictional character of any sort that they sort of honk of when they are going through a hard time and said character helps hem get through it?

Suz | 4428 comments I'll answer this one in a vague sense. I'm dealing with my first teenager, so I loved The Baby-Sitters Club when I was her age. I still think of those characters - and that was MANY years ago ;)

A memory from childhood in relation to a Christmas present you received or remember opening?

Sally906 | 87 comments I was 10 - and on Christmas morning I opened a book about animals with beautiful photographs - it was from my grandfather. He had died 4 months earlier but there was still a present under the tree. He had died of cancer but knowing he wasn't going to be around by Christmas he arranged for all of us to have presents and they were delivered all wrapped on Christmas eve.
