My favorite book... OK i don't have a favorite book, I have a favorite series. My favorite series would have to be the YA series by Brandon Sanderson. They are the Alcatraz books. I love them!

Are you a city person or a country person?

Yes. In fact, I am supposed to be doing that right now....

What's the last dream you remember having?

message 3253: by Dana (new)

Dana (danachewy) | 735 comments Okay, so don't judge. This is an extremely weird dream, I guess.

I was at school and climbing three flights of stairs (my school has four floors). Somehow, I found and picked up a moth, a painted wooden owl that was vibrating, and some other random nature-ish objects. Our class was having a yard-sale type thing where you put the pricetag on and other people could buy your stuff, and I set up my booth and left for a while. Miraculously, my stuff wasn't stolen, they were all sold. When I got back, there was a pile of coins on my desk. I started counting them and found a gold coin. On the back was engraved: Worth $4,005

:)

If you are doing NaNo, what's your current word count?

12,007. :P I'm behind, but I'm going to try and catch up today.

Are you listening to anything right now?

message 3255: by Sum (new)

Sum | 846 comments Umm the commercials of this episode of America's Next Top Model I'm watching.

What's your favorite TV show?

message 3256: by Brigid ✩, No tears in the writer, no tears in the reader. (new)

Brigid ✩ | 11973 comments Mod
Avatar: The Last Airbender. Aw yeah.

Are your nails painted?

message 3257: by Sum (new)

Sum | 846 comments Yes! They're a sparkly aqua color that I really like.

Is your hair tied up?

message 3258: by Brigid ✩, No tears in the writer, no tears in the reader. (new)

Brigid ✩ | 11973 comments Mod
Yeah, I'm wearing earrings. And a necklace with this cool flower on it made out of ... rocks. Yippee.

Do you collect anything (like stamps or whatever)?

message 3259: by Taylor (new)

Taylor | 0 comments Bodies...in my mind. XD No, I don't really collect much anymore...words, I guess. I collect words.

Where are your shoes at this moment in time?

message 3260: by Sum (new)

Sum | 846 comments No, I don't like collecting. It just feels like I'm holding on to junk.

What's one thing you're really good at that not many people know about?

message 3261: by Taylor (new)

Taylor | 0 comments Complimenting people. I don't do it often, but I really go all-out. ^_^

Again, where are your shoes right now?

HAHA NOOOO.

Are you on a laptop or a desktop computer right now?

message 3263: by [deleted user] (new)

Are you doing NaNo? If so, how far are you?

Brigid ✩ | 11973 comments Mod
Heck yeahhh. I'm at 47,505 ... I'm hoping to win tonight. AHHHH.

Do you use Spotify?

message 3265: by [deleted user] (new)

Nope. I probably should, but I'm too lazy to install stuff.

Do you make wishes at 11:11?

message 3266: by Annemarie, hi (new)

Annemarie Carlson (annielawlz) | 3393 comments Mod
No.

Do you like cream soda?

message 3267: by [deleted user] (new)

I've only had it a few times, but it's good.

What kind of phone do you have, if you have one?

message 3268: by Annemarie, hi (new)

Annemarie Carlson (annielawlz) | 3393 comments Mod
Um, it's a Samsung.

So, I'm getting the iPhone 5 soon.

Mac or PC?

message 3269: by [deleted user] (new)

I think Macs are fine, but I've never had anything other than a PC, so I'm not a good judge.

Pie or cake?

message 3270: by Annemarie, hi (new)

Annemarie Carlson (annielawlz) | 3393 comments Mod
Cake, usually.

What's your favorite musical?

message 3271: by [deleted user] (new)

It's a toss-up between Next to Normal and Les Misérables.

What's your favorite movie at the moment?

message 3272: by Taylor (new)

Taylor | 0 comments Complimenting people. I don't do it often, but I really go all-out. ^_^

message 3274: by Morgen (new)

Morgen Love | 12 comments On my feet.
Twilight or Hunger Games?

message 3275: by [deleted user] (new)

Neither, please. I dislike both of them. If I had to choose, though, I guess it would be The Hunger Games.

What's your favorite movie at the moment?

message 3276: by [deleted user] (new)

I have a lot, but for now I think I'll go with Sean Bean. I also love Christian Bale Hugh Jackman Aaron Tveit and just lots of Broadway people kay thanks bye.

Current obsession?

message 3277: by Mandy (new)

Mandy Harmon (mandyharmon) | 10724 comments I think you mean obsessions.

LIKE EVERYTHING. I NEVER GET OVER OBSESSIONS AND PHASES. THEY JUST DIE DOWN A LITTLE. LES MIS. LOTR. PINTEREST. DOCTOR WHOOOO. PSYCH. AVATAR THE LAST AIRBENDER AND (LOK). ADSJKFLHALRKEJAK;SLJRELJSAL;RJ;EKAS JOHNNY DEPP. FEELINGS. STUFF.

What are your thoughts on hipsters?

message 3278: by [deleted user] (last edited Nov 11, 2012 05:10PM) (new)

Dissolve, by Guster. It's on my NaNo playlist, and every time I listen to it I discover some new, hidden meaning.

To repeat Mandy's question: What are your thoughts on hipsters?

message 3279: by Taylor (new)

Taylor | 0 comments My friends can be divided into two categories: hipsters and band geeks. The band geeks give me a place to stay while I travel to the places hipsters show me.

Why do lots of people seem to dislike hipsters?

message 3280: by Brigid ✩, No tears in the writer, no tears in the reader. (new)

Brigid ✩ | 11973 comments Mod
Because some hipsters are really pretentious and annoying. Trust me, my school is like 80% hipsters. A lot of hipsters are cool people, though.

Are you hungry right now?

message 3281: by Morgen (new)

Morgen Love | 12 comments "Hipsters" is that what you call them? I like to refer to them as thugs or wanna be thugs. Lots of people dislike them because the majority of them have no social graces, and tend to do wrong. Am I thinking of the right thing or is it something else? Are you talking about the cool kids in school?

Why do people who can't even vote in the elections get so involved and cut throat about it?

message 3282: by Morgen (new)

Morgen Love | 12 comments No not hungry. Just ate.

TV, book or computer?

message 3283: by Sum (new)

Sum | 846 comments I guess because they want to be involved in some way. People like that usually get annoying, though, because they're also the ones less educated about the people running and the state of the country and all that. I try to keep my feet out of the politics pool, at least until I turn 18

What shoe do you most identify with?

((Uhhhhh no. O_o It's kind of hard to explain ... I think Urban Dictionary does a pretty good job: "a subculture of men and women typically in their 20's and 30's that value independent thinking, counter-culture, progressive politics, an appreciation of art and indie-rock, creativity, intelligence, and witty banter." They're kind of like, people who value things that are not as well-known, "mainstream," etc. and are typically the artsy/creative/philosophical/political type. Sometimes they are awesome and sometimes they're just annoying. But yeah. Sorry, that was a cruddy explanation.))

Oh dude, there is no way we are talking about the same "genre" of people. Hipsters are not thugs in the least.

Haha I meant like what kind of shoe. Shame on me for not explaining properly.

What's one awkward thing that happened to you recently?

message 3290: by [deleted user] (new)

My existence. XD Uhm, I don't know. What kind of awkward do you mean?

Your favorite kind of candy?

message 3291: by Anastasia (new)

Anastasia (booksteainsanity) | 955 comments I can't eat candy. I have a problem digesting it (no, my parents aren't cruel; it's a self discipline). But, if you asked me before I gave it up, I would have to say Kit Kat bars. Those are legit.

What's your favorite quote in you WIP (if you currently have one)?

message 3292: by [deleted user] (last edited Nov 11, 2012 11:13PM) (new)

(Aw, I'm sorry.)

Hmm... Favorites are hard for me. I wrote this little ramble about snowflakes in my NaNo yesterday, and it's not perfect and it might sound a bit pretentious, but I kind of like it for now. It's going in spoilers because its sort of long. (view spoiler)

What is your favorite month of the year?

(It's okay. :])

Nice quote, by the way. Sometimes, I think of snowflakes in the same way.

Probably December...because it's my birthday. And because I enjoy the smell of Christmas trees and cold weather.

What is your least favorite book of all time and why?

message 3294: by [deleted user] (new)

Thank you. :)

I'd have to say Fifty Shades of Grey. I haven't read it, nor do I plan to, but I hate the fact that it even exists. That book just... embodies most of what I hate about society.

What is the last book you read and what were your overall feelings about it?

message 3295: by Taylor (new)

Taylor | 0 comments The Fault in Our Stars. And it was utter s***. Pretty Green prose, which I loved, but it was like EVERY cancer story I've read. A central character who looks like they might be cured relapses and dies. Funeral. Main character feels totally misunderstood even though EVERY FICTIONAL PERSON IN HER POSITION THINKS EXACTLY THE SAME WAY.

But I notice from old topics that I am in a group full of Nerdfighters, so maybe I'm just gonna be the weird one here. Just...despite it being clean (which I loved), he butchered it in the end and made the last three days of reading a waste.

What is your favorite John Green novel? (An Abundance of Katherines for me. That kid thinks like I do.)

message 3296: by [deleted user] (last edited Nov 12, 2012 12:07AM) (new)

I've only read The Fault In Our Stars and Paper Towns, and it's hard for me to choose between them. Paper Towns wins by a hair.

If you could re-paint your room without having to worry about time, money, resources, or whether or not you have painting talent, what would you do with it?

message 3297: by Dana (new)

Dana (danachewy) | 735 comments Paint it a pretty pinky-orange, and stencil on some things / put life-sized wall stickers on (I like the ones made for nurseries, except the ones with pacifiers o.O)

If you wanted to change your name what would you change it to?

message 3298: by [deleted user] (new)

Corinne and Regina are some of my favorite names, and I've never been a fan of my real one. I'd love to be called Corinne, but I'd feel bad if I ever changed my name because I think my parents would feel offended, and my name has become part of my identity. :\

What is your favorite character name (one of your own characters)?

message 3299: by [deleted user] (new)

That one is always difficult for me. I have all these names planned out for girls, but boys' names are harder. Maybe Dominic, Elijah, or Joseph? I don't know! asdfghj

If you could choose a nickname for everyone to call you, what would it be?

message 3300: by Anastasia (new)

Anastasia (booksteainsanity) | 955 comments Ummm...Maybe "Gorgeous." Extremely unimaginative, yes, but then maybe, if a guy I really liked came up to say hi to me and knew my nickname, he would probably say, "Hey, Gorgeous."

And we all know that would be awesome.

How many children would you like to have? (None is also an option, by the way.)
