Jo (Penname8) | 1574 comments Makes me laugh at the right time, reasonably handsome, intelligent, knows how to cheer me up, yet doesn't give in to me when I'm being unreasonable. And that loves me.

What's your tag line?

Lav: MADE OF PURE AWESOME.

How is your love life?

HAHA A REFERENCE TO "THE ROOM." MY FAVE MOVIE.

Anyway ... oh, definitely the latter. I always silently have a panic attack when someone I know is like, "Oh, I read your blog. ... I read your book reviews ... blah blah." I'm always afraid that I like, secretly said something bad about that person and they'll find out. Even though I usually didn't. But, you never know.

If you were stranded on a desert island and could only have three books with you, what would they be?

message 1804: by Megan (new)

Megan Mweemba (meganlovesbooks) | 3196 comments Only three??!?!?? Okay, I can do this... Monsters of Men, Divergent, and The Fault In Our Stars.
Probably.

Same question?

Brigid ✩ | 11973 comments Mod
Haha, probably something like, How to Build a Raft, What Plants are Safe to Eat ... But anyway, if we're talking about like favorite books ... probably (also) Monsters of Men, The Book Thief, and A Tree Grows in Brooklyn.

What is your most cherished possession?

message 1806: by [deleted user] (new)

((Hahahaha! I love A Tree Grows in Brooklyn. It, along with Pride and Prejudice, is my favorite classic of all time. And The Book Thief changed my life in so many ways...that's awesome.))

message 1807: by Yaa (new)

Yaa (mediocreatbest) | 151 comments My glasses. I'm practically blind without them! -__-

What are your plans for summer?

Uhh not much. I have a job watching early drop-off kids at a summer camp, which will require me to get up at 7 AM every morning for the next month. YAAAY. It's not too bad, though. Plus I have a house-sitting/cat-sitting job. I'll be going to Cape Cod sometime in August and camping in Maine at some point. Otherwise I don't really have any plans. Except reading and writing a lot. Hooray.

Same question?

message 1810: by Isaac (new)

Isaac | 8014 comments Me? Plans? HA HA HA HA HA HA. I look forward to school coming back as soon as the last day is over. The only plans I can think of is that I'm seeing Singin' in the Rain on Thursday in theaters because it's one of my favorite movies and it comes to theaters for one day the day before my birthday. :D

Speaking of which, when's your birthday?

message 1811: by [deleted user] (new)

Fourth of October. Just as explosive as Fourth of July, but three months later. :D

Where do you write? On the floor, at a desk, in your attic crawlspace?

message 1812: by Regina (new)

Regina (goodreadscomthelunacentury) | 23 comments no where in particular. Just my desk or my bed..
What is your favorite movie that is a remake of a book?

message 1813: by [deleted user] (new)

Oh, dear, I typically hate them all.

Um...Because of Winn Dixie. That stayed pretty true to the book.

Who is your favorite baddy?

message 1814: by Isaac (new)

Isaac | 8014 comments Baddy?

Is a baddy a bad boy or something?

message 1815: by Jo (new)

Jo (Penname8) | 1574 comments Lemme see. I love Loki, but my favorite is the White Witch. Or Winston Yu from Snakehead.

Are you in public or private school (American speak)?

message 1816: by Brigid ✩, No tears in the writer, no tears in the reader. (new)

Brigid ✩ | 11973 comments Mod
Well, I go to a private college now. But I went to public high school (and middle school and elementary school), if that's what you're asking.

Do you use Tumblr as much as I do? (Which is ALL DAY EVERY DAAAY!)

message 1817: by Jo (new)

Jo (Penname8) | 1574 comments A lot. But Goodreads wins.

What was your very first fangirl subject?

message 1818: by Brigid ✩, No tears in the writer, no tears in the reader. (new)

Brigid ✩ | 11973 comments Mod
Uh, unicorns. Like, I was super obsessed with this series called The Unicorn Chronicles when I was 9. Except the author only wrote the first two books and then took ten years (no exaggeration) to write the third one ... So, to get my fill of unicorns I had to go around looking for other unicorn books, and drawing unicorns, and writing about unicorns. I don't know, I just thought unicorns were really flipping cool. And I talked about them a lot, and everyone thought I was a weirdo and hated me. The end!

What was the first movie you saw in a theater?

message 1819: by Jo (new)

Jo (Penname8) | 1574 comments I think it was one of the Harry Potter movies. 1 or 2, I forget which.

What do you think of Twilight fandom?

message 1820: by Jo (new)

Jo (Penname8) | 1574 comments I started adoring movies until Inception. And I still adore it.

((Ho ho I'm so old. Actually I didn't see Pocahontas in theaters, but it came out when I was like ... 3. Actually the first movie I saw in theaters was "Sleepless in Seattle" but I was a baby so I don't remember it at all. I think the first movie I remember seeing in theaters was uh ... one of those ones about dolphins. "Flipper"? And it terrified me for some reason. Anyway.))

I had a lot of favorite movies as a kid, but the ones I remember watching most were "The Nightmare Before Christmas" and "My Neighbor Totoro." And I still love both of those. What can I say? I was a kid with good taste. (Well, except my "Land Before Time" phase, but we won't discuss that...)

Same question?

message 1822: by Jo (new)

Jo (Penname8) | 1574 comments Already said that.

Would you ever try your hand at filmmaking?

I used to be into filmmaking but not really anymore. I was more into the editing process than the actual film-making aspect. So, I dunno ... I'd consider doing film editing. Or screenwriting.

What was your favorite outfit when you were a child?

message 1824: by Jo (new)

Jo (Penname8) | 1574 comments I loved dresses because I had only one. *sniff* Then I grew out of it.

Film editing or screenwriting? (I'd say the second for me.)

message 1825: by Elliott (new)

Elliott | 22634 comments Mod
I had this purple shirt with a butterfly on it and a matching purple skirt with several butterflies on it. IT WAS SO ATTRACTIVE. And then I grew out of it and had to give it away and I'm pretty sure I cried. Fun stuff. xD

What is your favorite subject in school?

I've never done screenwriting before, so that's kind of a toughie. But I do enjoy playwriting, so I guess screenwriting. Although film editing is fun as well.

What is your favorite smell?

message 1827: by Jo (new)

Jo (Penname8) | 1574 comments History.

John Williams or Hans Zimmer?

message 1828: by Jo (new)

Jo (Penname8) | 1574 comments Dunno. I'm not into erotica.

Recognize this? http://www.putlocker.com/file/ED7981C...#

((THAT IS HILARIOUS.))

I've never read any Shakespeare plays. I read a really really short skit adaption.

Are you the type of person to speak your mind?

message 1831: by Jo (new)

Jo (Penname8) | 1574 comments Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes.

Same question.

message 1832: by Isaac (new)

Isaac | 8014 comments Heck no. The most I say is on the internet and even then I don't say everything. I have issues with saying what I feel.

Do you feel embarrassed for other people?

message 1833: by Jo (new)

Jo (Penname8) | 1574 comments I don't get the question.

Do you play an instrument?

message 1834: by Isaac (new)

Isaac | 8014 comments Yep. I play the trumpet.

Same question?

Brigid ✩ | 11973 comments Mod
I sort of play the piano ... but I only started in December, so I'm not really that good at it yet. But yeah.

Favorite ice cream flavor?

message 1836: by [deleted user] (new)

I'll go with chocolate. Vanilla is too simple for me, and even though I like toppings, too much double fudge brownie gives me stomach aches.

Guilty TV show pleasure?

DANCE MOMS. In fact, I am watching it at this very moment ... I'm a horrible person.

Guilty song pleasure? ;)

Oops we both answered that but oh well...

HAHA YES I DID. It was utterly horrible. I can't even.

Uh, same question? :P

message 1840: by [deleted user] (new)

No, and I don't plan to read it. Ever.

What's that one fandom that you want to be a part of but you just don't have time for it?

message 1841: by Jo (new)

Jo (Penname8) | 1574 comments Umm, Doctor Who. I've heard of it at a distance, but ehhh...

Seen the Ocean's movies?

message 1842: by [deleted user] (new)

Yes. I fall asleep every time I try to watch Ocean's Thirteen for some reason, though, and I was too young to remember much about them now.

Least favorite fashion trend?

message 1843: by Jo (new)

Jo (Penname8) | 1574 comments Nails. As long as they're clean, it's fine. I hate how people love nails.

Why haven't you seen the first one?

message 1844: by [deleted user] (new)

You mean Ocean's? I have seen the first one, but I was about seven when it came out. I hardly remember anything about it.

Favorite actor (based on skill, not necessarily looks)?

message 1845: by Brigid ✩, No tears in the writer, no tears in the reader. (new)

Brigid ✩ | 11973 comments Mod
Err, probably Neil Patrick Harris ... based on both. Meh heh heh. XD

Last color you painted your nails (if you've ever painted them)?

message 1846: by [deleted user] (new)

I haven't painted my nails since I was a kid. Let's go with... uh... pink?

Favorite kind of hat? (random, I know)

message 1847: by Megan (new)

Probably the 20's. All the jazz and Prohibition and speakeasies and flappers and gangsters and stuff! It's just totally awesome.

Do you ever read graphic novels?

Well, I have a talent for making messes, but it's pretty explicable––I'm disorganized and lazy. :P

What time do you usually go to sleep at night?
