My most recent character, who goes by Arete. She's so cocky and expects the world to change according to her will, and when things don't go her way it almost shocks her. Like, "What? You dare not go according to my plan?! This is a problem." It makes me laugh. Or maybe Becca. She listens to Arete's long inspiring speech with a straight face, then once she's done, bursts out laughing.

Guster, but I'm a bit of a hipster when it comes to them. They completely changed their sound in their newest album, so I like their old stuff better. But they're still amazing. I have almost seventy of their songs on my iPod, and that's missing several.

I like Peter Jackson quite well, but that might be because he's the only director I've listened to extensively. He seems so intelligent and capable.

When I first joined Theater at my high school, we were choreographing a dance number. We had to have partners for one of the blocks, and I was with this buff guy from the football team. The director wanted my partner to "throw me over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes". Well, neither of us were experienced with lifts, so when he tried, I flipped out and my shoes fell off and he almost dropped me. My director had to show us the correct way.

If you had huge amounts of money, where would you need adult supervision to make sure you didn't spend it all? (If that makes sense. Like, if you couldn't go unsupervised to an animal shelter and not buy all the puppies.)

My dreams are always weird, but this is my favorite weird one. I've told you about it. It's very long, so I've put it in spoilers. (view spoiler)[MAXY'S MAY 5TH NIGHTMARE
STARRING: KORRA, BOLIN, MAKO, MEELO, PAKKU, JACKIE CHAN, AND MADDIE

This is one of the strangest and coolest nightmares that I've had in a long time. What happens when you watch a lot of Legend of Korra and see Jackie Chan in a commercial, you ask? ...

It was my brother's wedding again, so I found a bunch of dresses that worked with the color scheme. (Maddie, you and a girl I didn't recognize were with me.) This was a random side plot that didn't have much to do with the dream.

For the next part of the dream, I was always just a few feet away from Korra, like a ghost. Actually, kind of like I was just watching the sixth episode or something. We were wandering through this deserted water park. Someone important was the manager, but I can't remember who. These creepy guys walked up to us, and they didn't do anything mean, but they were threatening, so Korra kind of pushed them around and, after we ran away, shot one of them. This happened twice.

The theme park became less deserted and had more rides. Bolin and Mako showed up wearing new uniforms, except they looked like weird bug contraptions that astronauts would wear or something. Bolin randomly appeared and disappeared for a while. This freaky girl that could control their uniforms showed up and zapped Mako with lightning, so Korra freaked out and started sobbing over his dead body. I also flipped out. Mako's body disappeared a few seconds later. Korra was trying to sort out her feelings for Bolin and Mako, and I remember she said, "I've always felt less like a girl and more like one of the guys". She got so upset that the spirit of Pakku showed up, which makes no sense because he wasn't an avatar, and he started speaking to some other spirit for her while she kept crying.

Meanwhile, the crazy suit-controlling lady brought Mako back to life. He started trying to find Korra again.

Pakku told the spirit that Korra really loved Mako, but the spirit got angry and said that the crazy suit-controlling lady would have power over Mako for the rest of his life if he didn't stay dead. Then Mako walked in on the scene, and Korra was like, "MAKO!", and they hugged.

Around this time, I stopped being a spectator and realized that I needed to get ready for the wedding. I went back to my closet and searched for the dress I wanted, but I couldn't find it. All I could see were dresses I didn't like and the ones Maddie had picked for herself. Maddie's clothes were cute, but I didn't want to steal them, so I worried a lot about it and just went on the subway with my sisters, after which the scene kept changing between the theme park and my closet.

I needed to help Korra with something kind of like the task force, so I just threw on the next best dress and ran over to my school. We needed to fight these people who were keeping us from helping Mako, so we went through the back door and up the stairs. I saw Meelo frolicking around with some other kids through one of the windows.

When we got to the main evil people room, everyone started pairing up and fighting. The only other person not fighting was Jackie Chan. Even though I had been training in kung fu for about a week in the dream, I knew he could beat me easily. I bowed to him and said I wouldn't fight him. It seemed wrong. He was nice about it, pretending to fight me for a few seconds before letting me go with the others.

One of the superintendents confused me because I couldn't tell if he was helping us or not. He called the police, and the patrol cars started filling up the street we were trying to run in. Then, we went in another door to the school. And that's the last thing I remember. (hide spoiler)]

The last story I wrote was for the story contest and it's about a girl (or a guy, I suppose... the narrator is fairly ambiguous) who wants to escape the place she's living so she gets in a car and starts driving and then she realizes that getting out isn't going to solve her problems and yeah. It made me happy. I like it when I write deep things. Or things I consider to be deep. xD

POP ROCKS! Because they're fun and happy and easily excited and everyone loves them, but if you have too many of them, you start to get sick of them, except for those awesome people who never seem to get tired of Pop Rocks.
