I love her character, Father Tim. The verses and messages she includes in her books give me much hope right now.
I have read all of the series on Father Tim. I classisfied him as a wonderful Pastor, we need more of him in real life!
I'd love to live in a town like Mitford. But I don't think they exist. And if they do, it would probably take decades to be accepted, not months.

I loved the Mitford series.. Could not get enough of it.I could not get into the Father Tim
Series. It was like it was writen by someone else.
Book 4 is my favorite, but I love them all.
I too loved the Mitford series they are such a comforting set of books that give hope and peace to life. Yes, I wish there was a real Mitford maybe heaven is where it is! I also could not get into the Father Tim series they just weren't the same.
A rare mix of excellent writing and faith. When I read these books I could let my guard down.
I thought Father Tim was in all of the Mitford Series books -- are there others?
