I read this book at least 3 years ago, but maybe up to 7 years ago.

It's possible I remember some things wrong, so if you know a book that sounds similar, but not every detail fits, please tell me nonetheless.
I read the book in German, but I don't know what the original language was.

It's about some friends (I think there are 4 of them and they all are female) and they write down their dreams. They then put these dreams in a bottle and hide it in an attic. It is found years later (I think by a journalist, but I have no idea wether she is one of the friends or an outsider). The girls are tracked down and it is revealed what became of their dreams.

I only remember one of the life-stories. The Girl wanted to be an actress and goes to Hollywood. There she meets and producer (or maybe director) and starts a relationship with him. When she finds out she's pregnant, he throws her out and she has nowhere to go. A kind woman (I think she owns a bakery or a restaurant) finds her and takes her in.
