Alternate book 2 plot

As much as I enjoyed Catching Fire, I still think it would have been neat if Collins had made the second book about another "normal" Hunger Games, this time with Peeta and Katniss as mentors, because I would have liked to see that side of it and how they would have handled that. It would have been especially interesting if Gale's name had been drawn for this round and Peeta had to be his mentor, all while Peeta and Katniss were still playing up the "madly in love" story.

Wouldn't Gale be too old? I thought the year Katniss and Peeta got picked was his last.

Maybe i wouldn't have hate the end as much as i did

I think it was perfect. If she had made it like that, then the people in the games wouldn't of revolted and there wouldn't be a third book.

yeah, I would have liked to see more of the mentoring process too...but not enough to want the whole plot changed.

That seems really cool! That could be the second book and catching fire could be the third and mockingjay could be 4. Ps gale can't be in another games but it would be cool if he could, maybe prim would, but that would be toooooooo sad
