Why are you on Team Gale?? I was at first because she knew Gale all her life and Peeta was just some nice kid who gave her bread.

Gale and Katniss understand each other better. They help feed each other's families, and they share everything they have. Katniss can be herself around Gale without constantly questioning his motives.

When she was gone for the first Hunger Games, Gale worked really hard to feed her family as well as his. I think it was a slap in the face when she comes back with Peeta as "The Star-crossed lovers." That probably really ticked him off.

Yeah exactly what Whitney said. In the movies, try show Gale watching the Hunger Games and it makes you really sad. But in the end of Mockingjay, (view spoiler)[ Peeta and Katniss are together, but shes with him out of this whole upset thing, the whole term of owing. Instead of being happy. (hide spoiler)]

And in the book and the movie you see gale for so much less than Perta, but you still manage to like him! You like him immediately and Peeta has to grow on you.
