@christi, I know I missed out on the date discussion but I did want to put in my 2 cents. I didn't date until after I graduated high school, for one thing guys didn't ask me. My first bf I dated for about two months and a date for us was going to a movie or out to eat. With my current bf(3 years and still going strong :-D) a date is when he and I go out to eat or go out and do putt putt, zoo trip, bowling etc. Most of the time we just 'hang out,' running errands together or sit on his couch watching tv because we can't afford to go out all the time for money reasons or a time crunch because of our conflicting work schedules.

I spent a lot of time hanging with my guy cousins instead of my girl cousins growing up, just because I was more interested in the gamer/adventure movies rather than discussing hair, clothes, makeup and boys. I honestly didn't care to date in middle and high school, middle school boys were silly and immature and in high school it always seemed to be about the drama. My current bf was the exception but I didn't exist to him until after high school.

I will tell you what is NOT dating. At prom I danced with a guy. He seemed okay and later at school he said asked me out and I was like 'sure' for a week he only called me once and I only saw him in the halls once. At the end of the week, he came to me and said it wasn't working out, I agreed and that was that. Apparently he expected me to do all the work of seeking him out *shrugs* my heart wasn't even scratched so whatever.

Thanks. :D Yeah, I enjoy hanging out with my guy cousins more than my girl cousins. They're more mature (I can be pretty immature at points, but my female cousins tend to be more dramatic) and more fun to hang out with, even though they live in a different state and I don't see them often.
If you saw what I posted earlier, it's because my mom thinks I've been going out on dates with this guy despite the fact that we are merely friends, so I was wondering what counts as a date to you guys.

And it's just Geometry and History.... History because my teacher wont put anything into the freaking grade book, and I missed a day where we had to take notes on a movie, but she said that didn't matter, so I didn't worry about it, but now apparently it's effecting my grade :/ And geometry only because my first test grade was like, seventy two.... if I do extra credit I could probably get it back up.
