I think he would be a great choice because he is really tall and has a dark side (at least in Supernatural). I agree, he is a little bit old, but at the same time he has a "baby face"...don't you think? :)

In my opinion, I think a debuting actor, or a uncommon name could be good. So one that doesn't look like Patch, but yet can so the full persona of who he is I guess... Like who expected Jennifer Lawerence to do Katniss in the "Hunger Games" because she's blond? The whole idea that I'm looking for is probably a great actor that can fufill the role as the fallen/guardian angel we all love, and I guess the same for the other characters as well. I've only read the first books, so I don't know many characters ;P

I really don't want a movie..... i like to imagine them in my head, they look better in my desired imagination. I don't want a perfectly good book to turn out like "Eragon" or anything like it. And if the movie is made, i'll try and ignore it.

Have anyone thought of Zayn Malik as patch?, I know he is in a boyband but if he were a little bit taller and if they give him the right mysterious look he would be perfect for the movie rol. I picture him but I do think he is missing something about the real Patch in the book but he is the only guy I can think of.
