Post 1 for Tangerine

i like the book tangerine. the begginning is kinda slow but i think it will get better. i like how it tells about pauls life and how he is settling into his new home and school. i dont like how they keep repeating about eric's football dream.

The book starts slow and its boring but with many books I read there slow but then they pick up the speed and get very good. I have high hopes for this book and hope this meets my expectations.

I like this book so far because it just grabs your attention in the beginning, like when he woke up at 7 and smelled an ashtray kind of smell and then he told his mom, that made me want to keep reading and reading! But the book kind of makes me question on his family on whether or not they might move agian because they might now be able to take the muck fires/smoke.

I think that mostly all book are slow in the beginning, i really think that this book will get really good! its very interesting so far!!!

i agree with you about the detials and the muck fires (about moving). the book is kinda slow but it is good.

i dont think it is that boring but we all have different opions so... what makes it so boring?

what makes it borring is theres not much detail and i dont think its very differce form are everyday lifes

I agree with Cherokee because they are moving in the first two pages & gives good description of things.

well at least its not all fast or all slow, i kind of like how it is fast and then slows down because it kind of lets you think about what just happend a little more

I think the books starts off slow, but as i keep reading it starts to get better. I dont really like Paul's brother, Erik mostly because he seems mean to Paul.

I don't find the book boring, I just think we need to get farther in the book for it to be more intersting.

this book is ok, its not good but its not bad. i think it can be a little slow at times and does not get to the point quick enough. but overall it is an ok book.

I like the book. Its slow in the beginning but it is interesting. It is also very easy to read. Nothing has happened in the beginning besides them moving so it makes the book boring but I think it will get better.

i agree this book is getting better but it still is slow and should have more detail about tangerine county

Paul is the main character in the book. Paul has to wear really thick goggles because he stared into a solar eclipse.
