if you have the book at hand you can write the information here and either me or another librarian can add it for you.

Cheryl (cherylllr) | 363 comments And btw don't worry about 'gay friendly' - we're all 'book friendly' and supportive of efforts to make the GR database complete.

I won't go so far as to say we're all gay-friendly but I've never heard one negative comment from any member of this group. :)

Diana-Ashley (dark82) | 2 comments I added it but it says Book cover not available. I am a new librarian so I am just getting a handle on things. Is this what happens with e-published books? Even if they are on Barnes and Noble or Amazon?

message 7: by Cheryl (new)

Cheryl (cherylllr) | 363 comments Amazon has said that we are not allowed to use data, for example cover images, from their website. If you actually own the book, you can upload the cover image directly yourself.

Or you can try to find the cover image on the author's or the publisher's website. Avoid booksellers and e-commerce sites.

i guess the TS don't want any help from not-gay-friendly librarians.

well, i'm out, because i'm not-gay-friendly, as in neutral. :p

I didn't know books had gender, let alone a preference. o.O

Robert Greene | 23 comments Yeah!!! Well this has a happy ending. Yes, I'm a author and they've allowed me to update my books. So, I did! However, thank you to all the librarians (both gay and straight) for your help. I didn't mean to offend.
FYI, if you are a women, I would suggest CROSSOVER II: Straight Men - Gay Encounters. It's a great read. If you're a gay man, I would suggest, The Gay Icon Classics Of The World. If you're a straight guy, I got nothing for you to read...hehehehe. I'm KIDDING!!!

Mel (soireb) | 224 comments Robert, does Crossover and Crossover II are two books from a series? Is the series name Straigh Men - Gay Encounters?

Robert Greene | 23 comments Mel wrote: "Robert, does Crossover and Crossover II are two books from a series? Is the series name Straigh Men - Gay Encounters?"

Hi Mel,
Crossover: Straight - Men Gay Encounters was the original ebook. It was really successful and expanded into a print book with more stories added. What upset me when I wrote it, was that the publisher asked for a "murder" story to be added and I don't "DO" murder stories. These stories are fiction but really they aren't (if you know what I mean) :)
So, the murder story throws it out of context in my mind. I hope this helps.

Mel (soireb) | 224 comments I was just wondering if a series needed to be created to group the books, but if they are not Book 1 and Book 2 of "X" series. That's cool. Thanks though ^.^
