I thought the book was great. 5 stars. It's going to be a great dystopian series to read. Who was everyone's favourite characters, because the book did follow a lot of characters. Besides Sam, who I suppose was the main character, I liked Edilio & Lana.

Lana was probably my favorite. If I could have a power from the series it would definitely be hers. I expect she's going to be vital to their survival. I read some really great reviews and I think this series is going to be great! 3 stars is quite harsh and unfair, but this book seemed like just a beginning and I have a million unanswered questions, so... anyway it's great and I can't wait to read the next book. But you see I do this thing; I start a series, and when I finish the first book I go on to another one until I reach a great amount of series (I'm probably doing 20 right now) then I go back to the series I started off with. Which is really messy, but I like to try everything out (almost) at once. So it's going to be a while before I read Hunger.

For the first moment, it was a very good plot for me. Getting into the mysterious power developing kids and etc. But when I got to the last part or I think the second book... I felt like the plot was being too broad. And new characters keep showing up it's sometimes hard to keep up and their backstories. It's crazy. Whenever I decide to read the sequel or the next book of whatever Gone Series, my mind set is "Get ready for a loooooong ride."

The entire series is absolutely amazing! A friend of mine had read it and told me to get it. I did, and sure enough, I adored it. I'm warning you though: it is very gory and gruesome in some parts... it isn't for the weak of heart!

Yeah, I agree... I think it is the most gory of all... but it is truly amazing!
