Oak Tree Group ReviewReviewers felt that this book, though the second in the U.N.D.E.A.D series from this author, could be read as a stand alone story, although more will be gained by those who have come to know the characters from Book 1.
Those who reviewed this really enjoyed both the fast pace of the adventure story and the sense of humour of the author. Much of this is in witty word play, clever description and the sarcastic character of the hero, Agent Ward.
The reviewers were unanimous in awarding this book 2 acorns, a Highly Recommended read.
I've read them both Karl and I think this is even better. Might read it again!
I've read it twice, and loved it the second time as well. But then I love all Darren's books. And they get better all the time.

They aren't massively long Elle, you should manage both. Actually, once you've read the first you'll make time for the second!
Try the sample at least, Elle. You'll be hooked.
I read the sample ages ago and really liked it. Just haven't got around to actually buying the books yet. Hopefully after next week I'll have a week or so gap from study to get loads of pleasure reading in!
I read it for the live event and thought it was better than the first one too.... But then it could be that I got used to Darren's sense of humour :)
I am more than happy to join in on any conversation that is ongoing. I can only say at this point that I think it is a work of unalloyed majesty and wonder (but then I would say that wouldn't I?)
