Rebecca Espinoza The Timberwolves series by Tammy Blackwell is awesome. The first book is Destiny Binds.

April Good Question, I am looking for the answer to that as well. Seeing as Obsidian is my favorite book right now, I don't know if we will find one that compares...
Have you read the Covenant Series by Jennifer Armentrout?
These might be what you are looking for:
The Celestra series by: Addison Moore
The Premonition Series by: Amy A Bartol
My Blood Approves Series by: Amanda Hocking

I can let you borrow the Premonition and Celestra series on the kindle if you want

You have to try the Fever series by Karen Monnin. Barron's is like Daemon but older. I thought Fever was an MA version on Obidian. If you like Daemon then u will love Barron's. I believe the first of the series s Dark Fever

Can you let me borrow the premonition books on the kindle?

Catriona Laurie Well, the Denazen series by Jus Accardo is pretty much up there with Lux. It has romance, government conspiracy, superpowered teens--everything you have in Lux that makes it so involving. In the case of Denazen instead of Aliens there are genetically tampered-with humans held by a 'shadow government' type corporation something along the lines of Section in the Nikita series. The hero is a guy who escapes from the agency where he has been held since birth, his merest touch will kill, and the heroine is a girl who happens to be immune to his power. It's brilliant and I can't recommend it highly enough!

Megan This is always a hard book to compare to because it's so amazing, but I know a few that gave me the same feels as this one. First, make sure you've read J.L.A.s other series such as the Covenant series and the Dark Element series. She knows how to make great male characters!

Here are the few I can think of...
Bound (The Crystor, #1) by C.K. Bryant Something Witchy This Way Comes (Something Witchy, #1) by Veronica Blade Angelfall (Penryn & the End of Days, #1) by Susan Ee Wolfsbane (Nightshade #2) by Andrea Cremer Firespell (Dark Elite, #1) by Chloe Neill

There are good books out there, just not many like the Lux. Good luck, though!

message 37: by Shira (new) - added it

Shira I am totally in love with the lux series .... Another series that I really enjoyed was Hush Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick... It's a must read... Though its last book was not up to the mark but it has all the elements like smart mouth hero who is totally hot... N the book is funny and thrilling at the same time... Though I've read the series years ago I still can't forget how hot Patch was! ;-)

Banyanya Ignited (Ignited Series, #1) by Desni Dantone

If you loved Obsidian you will D-E-F-I-N-I-T-E-L-Y love this series Ignited. I promise you. It gave me obsidian feels . This book contains SO MUCH sarcastic-witty humor. Heroine's snarky thoughts and one liners/dialogue is funny as hell. I laughed out loud. Also, heroine and hero doesn't get along at all, she hates him actually. So you will get to laugh from their interactions.

Banyanya Starbound by J.L. Weil
Also,Starbound is hilarious, authors humor is really similar to Jennifer Armentrouts. Snarky, funny, witty characters + love-hate relationship thingy going on.

Holly May Gilroy Saving Angel
try the divisa series, when i first read it i thought i had opened the wrong book and i was actually reading obsidion
