ok.. seriously
I like both El Diwan, and Maktabet el sherouq..
because both are handy and near my house..

however, my favorite way of buying books, from soor el azbakya .. wether the real one or the M3rad el ketab one..
Gosh... I love the smell of old books!

I usually buy them from Diwan in Zamalek, El Shorouk either in City Stars on Beano's or Virgin in City Stars, and lately I discovered one small shop in Carrefour Cairo-Alex road called Egyptian American Book Center.

well as i already have no time to go to downtown, I tried to found the book stores on my way from home to work, options were very limited to carrefour Dandy Mall.. so it is the only place i get books from nowadays : most of them are elshorouk publishing's.

also sometimes I got books from Ma7adet Masr, when i be in my way home and not running to catch the train :)
