Umm... it matters to all die hard HG fans!

i love chris evans. he would definately be a good finnick."
Or Ryan Reynolds. Ryan would work too.

i was thinking the same think

"
OK look, I agree that Justin Bieber shouldn't play Finnick, but I really don't think it's exceptable to even mention death. It's rude and obnoctious. What if you were Justin Bieber and someone wanted you to die, would you like that????

Seriously though, who's going to be Finnick? Maybe Alex Pettyfer could do this. :)"
Ya he would be good....if he can act
P.S. that was not a slam i just never saw him act

APRIL FOOLS"
Man u almost got me there

..... short, lanky with string hair... like a small mop

i get what u mean and i wouldn't want to see him dead but i have to write what i am told to write even if it is not right

I don't want Justin Bieber playing Finnick, but seriously people, he isn't that bad. He's a singer that some movie producers might have considered letting him have a part in Catching Fire. So what? Their movie. Their creating it. Get over it. And quit saying such mean things about him. He's actually a pretty good singer and pretty good looking. You guys just don't know how to be individuals and speak for yourselves.
I really hope Justin doesn't become Finnick l.

REPLY AND ILL SHOOT"
WHOEVER SAID JUSTIN BIEBER IS PLAYING FINNICK IS A LIAR. It was a joke for April Fools. It's not on ..."

but i dont think he capture Finnick's age or.... urm ...... ah... "look"

Neither. They'd spoil it all. Channing Tatum made an enemy of me with his performance in G.I Joe, and Zac Efron is just a clown who lives on his past reputation and ridicuous romantic movies.

I agree that movie makers are free to make whatever casting choices they want . . . BUT, if they want to stay true to the story, stay true to the characters, then they need to make their casting choices based on that, and not what will attract the biggest fan-girl crowd.

he lookedd horrible
acted horrible
and i couldnt stop laughing when he died:)
"
Congratulations."
I wish it REALLY happened though... too bad

I would say that the odds are not in his favor.
Pick some hot guy instead of girly-looking boy with a poor songs, please.

I agree, but if i cant see him singing, i think it is a girl singing by the voice

Probably someone just wanted to see how many replies they could get off of it

i love chris evans. he would definately be a good finnick."
..." i can't think of his name but the guy who plays noah in the notebook would be good too. i know he's older than finnick but he looks much younger than he is...

first...not everyone can act. i know i sure as hell can't act. thats why i played the part of narrator in my school production of peter pan. not everyone can act, just like not everyone can sing, or dance, or play an instrument.
second...casting is one of the most important parts of a movie. especially when you have a movie based off of books as popular as THG or twilight or harry potter. these series are known worldwide and fans feel like these characters are real. and they grow to know and love those characters. this is why the casting is so important. cast the wrong person and those die hard fans don't relate to the charater anymore. you get a completely different response from the audience. with a lot of movies word of mouth is the biggest selling point for them. so if the die hards who go to the movie's first showings don't like it they tell their friends and those friends don't go, and tell their friends they were told its not worth paying movie theater prices, and so on....
i will say that as far as the first movie goes the casting (in my opinion) was perfect. and up until seeing the movie i was unsure of their casting of lenny kravitz and elizabeth banks. but i was pleasantly suprised.
i think that they will do justice to all of the characters in catching fire. and those who feel this is an important part of the movie making process should be free to discuss it. and those who don't why waste the energy in even trying to argue about it?

...Actually, anyone but Bieber.

im just kidding but yes anyone would be great for finnick other than jb

first..."
well said
