Odette is well was my choice for Rose but she's too old.
I'm all for the movie as long as Ben Barnes isn't Dimitri. I notice how everyone seems to want that but me. I'm sure they'll find some russian actor to play Dimitri. That would be much better.

Sorry to burst the bubble of Ben Barnes fans, but he had just been cast in another book franchise, The last apprentice (the movie is called the Seventh Son) and I really doubt he could be cast as Dimitri as well. Plus, when a studio finally decides to bank the project, most of the suggestions mentioned in this thread will be a bit too old.

LOL, that is right. Alex was in negotiation to be in the Last Apprentice and that is why he turned down TMI. To be honest I think he got too cocky and I'm sort of glad he didn't get the role in the Last Apprentice. And his movie I'm number four wasn't that successful. I think he blew his big chance.

If you've seen the book trailer Adrian was kind of a rubbish actor there. I hope, if they turn it into a movie (since there is a facebook page) that hoepfully he isn't chosen. And Ben Barnes is my choice too, that's only because I don't know any other characters who would be clsoe enough to suiting the role of Dimitri

I personally think the VA series would do better as a TV series than a set of movies :s Especially with the cliffhangers at the end of pretty much EVERY chapter!
There's too much to incorperate into a movie which is ALSO why I think it would do better as a TV series. :)

Plus it will last longer that way!

It might actually have some bad points if they turn this incredible series into a movie.
It will be like the Twilight fan base, full of people running around screaming how they read the book before the movie was even considered movie material.
People will always do that and then put down the actual people who read the book b4 all the commotion becuaus they think their better for some unexplained reason.
There will also be haters that I'm just going to really wanna punch out.
But anyways, it could be THE BEST MOVIE EVER if they get the right actors. :) IM IN LOVE WITH THIS SERIES!

I do hope they make it into a movie soon. Though I pray to God they use anyone but Ben Barnes for Dimitri. I know a lot of fans love him as Dimitri but he's just not looking the part.

That would be nice. Fresh faces and all that. But for some reason I see the actress that plays Caroline in the Vampire Diaries as a perfect Lissa.
