I read this in German in the early 90s. It was about a girl (I think) who finds a mysterious game store and buys a game. She plays it with her friends (I think the game looks like a house) and somehow they end up in a world of shadows meet some shadow people there. I'm pretty sure it had 3 parts and if I remember correctly it was published in a Goosebumps kind of series. I hope this sounds familiar to somebody b/c I would love to find it again.
